I haven't got the seahorses yet. The light on the tank went out and I need to fix it and my caluerpa hasn't grown as much as I would like it to. It's more realistic that I'll get them anywhere from the end of December - April 2009. Sorry for the LONG delay! :(
That is what I was aiming for too. But the only problem is that the light broke and the plants are decaying. Good thing I have back-up caluerpa in my 34g! When I told my reef club that I wanted to set up a dwarf tank they gave me tons of reasons why I shouldn't... but I did it anyways! So I say just try. If it doesn't work out for you and it is too hard you can always turn it into a lagoon tank with a few small fish in it which is what I'm going to do if It is too hard for me to keep dwarfs.
Hey man cool tank. I just started my 3 gallon dwarf tank today with 7dwarf seahorses

Haha its no problem.. i actually have a 55gal reef tank, and iw anted to start a Nano seahorse tank.
i wanted to start with the dwarfs and just wanted some first hand experience and stuff..
i REALLY REALLY want to get a seahorse tank but allot of people discourage you that its "too hard"
I dont want it to be reef, just some live sand, live rock, sea plants, sponges and seahorse.

what kind of sand is that
horsecameo 2 years ago
It is just regular artificial sand. I didn't want any hydroids getting into my tank.
