I hope to fucking god Activision and infinity ward learned a lesson from MW2. matchmaking in THEORY works, but in reality it fails hard.
Cod 4 is still one of the best FPS games for all platforms.

Well atleast I don't cod4 was and still is a amazing game on all platforms. WAW was cod4 with a ww2 skin over it. And mw2 is just a fucking mod with some new missions attached to it. Both Call of Duty and Activision are done now. This is going to affect the quality of the future CoD games.
Without CoD, Activision is nothing. They already raped Guitar Hero (as if one game a year wasn't enough, they felt the need to release 20-30 SKUS for GH in 2009 alone) and the Tony Hawk games.
Now they've shot themselves in the leg (already shot both feet with the games mentioned above) by guaranteeing that the future CoD games will be shit.

c'mon waw isn't that bad,I started playing it a few months ago,and I really think that the campaign is more than solid,also the multiplayer -especially the maps are awesome,and the nazi zombies mode is damn addictive.
I prefer waw any time over modern glitch/patch/hack/campfare 2.
but cod 4 still is and will be the best fps out there for a long time.nothing can beat the multiplayer.I have been playing it for almost 2 years every day.that game got me hooked like nothing else before
