No, it is proper because he uses two hands, He is more that a bishop but a Patriarch, primate of all Orthodox Russia. Later in the film he retires to a more judiciary place of government where a new young Patriarch is in charge of the church. When an Orthodox priest or bishop is giving a blessing he forms the IC XC symbol with his fingers and crosses left to right. When he makes the normal sign of the cross, it is with three fingers and right to left (and in this case two fingers since it's pre-Nikonian Russia).

This is the best historical drama and interpretation of a human's life I have ever seen. The film brings to light all the motives and possible feelings Czar Ivan had during his rule over Russia. He was a very cold genius man with darkness shadowing him all of his life. The last portion is in color and the end is spectacular, the most brilliant I have ever seen. The camera shots are very dramatic and lively. This is truly a great work of art for Russian culture and history.

When the Scandanavians moved to Russia it was because they were tired of the policies and may have even been considered outlaws in their original land. Upon arrival they fought the Mongolians which was something no other people had ever done and won. Korea had lots of problems with especially the Chinese and decided it be best if they traded partners to procreate. The results are much of Korean inhabitants and Russian.

The main reason why the Scandanavians won is because they were resistant to extreme cold temperatures. The land they chose was desolate and very cold. Probably very unwise for the Chinese to attack over that territory because it was land they never used but that is how the mentality was then.
