  • Hey Superfonz.. Great demo of that beautiful guitar, those SD Pickups especially with coil taps make that guitar sing like a bird. to me I dont care where a guitar is manufactured, if you know how to touch it right, and it fits your feel and style.. thats all that matters. its a shame how many people miss out on some beautiful guitars because of their prejudices of where it was made. play it first, you may very well find that that guitar was made for you. thanks again for the great demo.

  • @stratomaster516 - Hi Stratomaster: Thanks for the compliment and well said comment. Not everyone can afford to pay $2000-$10,000+ for a guitar. There are some awesome guitars made today for a whole lot less that play and sound beautifully, plus look fantastic as well.

  • awesome guitar, always sounds awesome too regardless of the overkill of reverb on the amp.

  • why is the fonze playing rockabilly

  • Do this guitar have Made in USA

  • @Juillet187 - This Tele is Korean made with USA Seymour Duncan pick ups.

  • thumbs up if you want one

  • thank u for explaining FMT

    snoma01 from japan

  • I tried the neck thru FMT Korean model and the neck profile was too thin. Has anyone tried a made in USA FMT model? The guitar does sound awesome. 

  • What song do you play in the beginning

  • @ericarlsonbabykilla9 - It is the intro to" It Don't come Easy" by Ringo Starr

  • @Superfonz88- i got this guitar and love it

  • @johnsopro0 Exactly what I was thinking!

  • How thin is the neck on this guitar? I'm seriously considering buying this guitar but I'm wondering about the weight and feel of the neck compared to other Telecasters. Any help would be great.

  • you look so much like laim neeson

  • GAS!!!!!

  • Got the same one and absolutely love it. Great guitar and nice demo btw.

  • fonz must have kicked that tube screamer right off the set, cos I couldn't hear the dif when he 'kicked' it in

  • and not much of a guitar demo without any dirty tones!!!!

  • i played one and the neck is just too darn thin!

  • @gwanksta

Do you know if it's as thin as a standard tele?

  • @SideshowBob180 I think not. It's kinda wider. On of the best necks on the market.

  • @SideshowBob180 a bit thinner than a standard tele

  • Many thx for this nice review. This is so tuff to get info about this guitar, especially in France. KR

  • That guitar is not particularly my cup of tea in terms of style I prefer strats but it looks good and sounds sweet. Great review man.......... you almost turned me into a tele man!

  • A lovely review of a lovely guitar.

    Thank you.

  • can it play metal?

  • @blindness7 I don't play metal but some users say, Yes!

  • @blindness7 if you watch "framing hanley webisode 3" their guitarist uses it, mightnt be your cup of tea but shows you some of it

  • @blindness7 My friend you are missinformed. The guitar does not play metal at all. It is the guitarist that plays the metal, regardless of the axe.

  • @blindness7 if ur a metal guy who LOVES Telecasters, then this is perfect! an affordable price, and seymour duncan is great! u can get this or the Jim Root's Telecaster as it hase EMG pick ups (metal based pick ups) with it. or u can get this, save up a little, purchase a pair of great EMGs and swap em out for the stock seymour. get the amber red its so sexy!

  • @blindness7

i say it can, and it does it pretty well. neck thru gives it tons of sustain!

  • @blindness7 search fender telecaster fmt metal! there are some good covers and maybe the channels' users can help you out more!

  • Handcrafted in Indonesia, mistakes free.

  • @shckltnebay - This Tele is Korean made with USA Seymour Duncan pick ups.

  • What a guitar!!!!!!

Man, this is reverb abuse at it's finest, lol

  • I have that guitar...only mine is black and red

  • How many frets on this guitar?

  • @HarryPotterDrums 22 Jumbo Frets

  • @Superfonz88 thanks

  • lol 4:19 are you playing mrs. brown you've got a lovely daughter? it sure sounds like it

  • @Anitrop Yes, by muting the strings with my right hand, I can get a bit of a banjo sound like the guitar player did with Herman's Hermits.

  • Holy Reverb Batman!!!

  • Really nice guitar, I have been wanting one. I have had a couple of "standard"

Telecasters...but they are waaay to "twangy." Strats don't give me what I'm looking for either, not "country" enough. I need an ax that I can do "Conway Twitty" one minute...and "kiick ass" rock & roll the next. With these pickups...this guitar should do the job.

  • would this guitar be good for metal e.g. balck sabbath, iron maiden and possibly metallica

  • @krajnovic10 - Sure. Although I don't play metal, there are players who use this guitar for heavy metal.

  • @Superfonz88, hi, What's the difference between the "Fender Custom FMT HH" (the one you reviewed here) and the "Fender Special Edition Splated Maple" ? Thanks you.

  • @krajnovic10 yes i have one and its awesome for metal

  • @krajnovic10

I would say that this guitar will be able to do metal. But do I think it is best suited for it? Looks and sound tell me no. It just looks too pretty to play metal lol. And really as much as I like the Seymour Duncans, if you're looking to do metal and metal alone, go for EMG's. But for anything else stick with SD's.

  • @EasternAggie

Any guitar with the right pick-ups and amp be used to play metal; looks don't mean a thing. For example, my Highway One Tele with SD Hot Rails is just as capable of metal tones as my LP with EMG 81/85 pups. You cannot judge from this video because he is clearly not going for a metal sound, and is likely using a Fender amp on a low-gain setting. So yes . . . I am sure this guitar is amply capable of metal and even more so if hotter pups were installed.

  • @joelpaulsero Well said Aggie!

  • How wide and thick is the neck? is average fender size or is like a gibson neck?

  • @A18xOnDaTube - I would say the set neck is on the slim side and very easy to play

  • this is like a super fast neck like super strats (not as wide) the best feature of the neck is having the ease of use together with the C shape neck.. definitely worth more than you paid for..

  • I play rockabilly/ phsycobilly punk would this be good for that ?

  • Absolutely gorgeous looking guitar !

Great tones aswell, the pups can handle everything, from Clean to Metal

  • can you get metallica like tones from this guitar if its overdriven?

  • Wow! I love the look of this guitar, it so versatile in tone. But how durable is the push/pull tone nob and how much does it hum? I plan on buying one so I'm just doing some extra research. Help anyone?

  • @Hurricanex2 No Hum and push pull tone nob is plenty durable. That's why it get's such great reviews. Plus, what you're paying for this guitar, it's a steal.

  • Thanks a lot D. Ah...one last question, does this guitar have any sort of tremolo ?

  • @Hurricanex2 Unfortunately not. If this guitar had a bigsby, This could be the only guitar you would ever need.

  • Please,Answer me....

This Guitar can be madein Japan?

    Or only in Korea?

  • @ArtemParhomenko

This guitar is made in Korea. Pickups are USA made Seymour Duncans

  • i just got this same guitar and its amazing, and you never mentioned how good the guitar sounds with the tone rolled off. it really makes a difference

  • hey mate, what do you say about this one vs the JA-90? :)

  • @JoaoJMatias Sorry, I never played a JA90, but I'll be looking to try one

  • i love watching your video. and it adds more to cant wait to see my cherryburt to arrive (from US to Canada). its taking so long. good thing i have a strat on my pod x3 live.

  • It is Korean made. However the Seymour Duncan pick ups are USA made.

One of the best guitars I have ever played for the money.

  • Love the in-depth review. Good job! I am seriously considering this guitar. With this guitar being quite a departure from a classic tele can you still get any classic tele sounds?

  • Thanks Jim. I would say with the Seymour Pearly gates and '59 reverse wound humbuckers in this guitar, it is a bit different than the classic Tele sound. Although awesome.

You may still want a good classic Tele for the classic twang of a tele.

  • Tell me the bad stuff about this guitar, because I'm planing to buy it :) How is the tuning stability? Does it go out of tune easy?

  • The bad thing about this guitar is, it does not have a Bigsby. A lot of my guitars had Bigsbys and I just got used to them.

No problem with tuning on this Tele. With the cast sealed tuners it stays in tune as good as any other guitar I own. And some cost a whole lot more than this Tele.

I also think this guitar is one of the best values today and may become a collector's item. A lot of players seem to agree. You can read their reviews on Harmany Central. The average is a 9.6.

  • Thanks! First I wanted a guitar with floyd rose tremolo, but then I realized that 99% of my playing I don't use the tremolo, so that's why I'll buy this gorgeous tele...

  • Yes, For the most part I'm playing straight with a little bit of reverb turn on in the Blues deluxe. But, as mentioned in the video during the "Let It Be" solo from 523 to 603 I kicked in an Ibenez Tube Screamer for a little bit more overdrive.

The Fender Blues Deluxe is also stock. It really starts to sound great when the volume is cranked up to at least 5. On this video the amp was turned down to below 2.

  • could i play heavy music on it because i want a tele with humbuckers because i collect tele and play nothing but teles and i want one for metal i cant afford the Jim root model.

  • I don't see why not. Especially with these humbuckers in there.

Of course, depending on the sound you're looking for you may need the right amp and different distortion/overdrive pedals.

And if you want a beautiful clean sound this guitar will give a nice variety of tones.

  • thanks and i have a wide variety of over drive and gain pedals and im using a line 6 so thank s i guess im getting this tele.cheers

  • The line 6 is also a great amp.

  • Are you playing it straight through the Fender Tweed Blues Deluxe without any pedals? Thanks.

  • FIRST!! been looking at this guitar for some time now, can't wait to get my hands on one. That tone is to die for!!
