they wanna be just Sci-Fi action. SG-U is trying to live up to SG-1 and is also trying to spread itself to thin, not getting awesome in any particular area.

Stargate= Sci-Fi action. I'm all for a more psycological side, for sure, but so far, its like a crappy teen drama with SOME Sci-Fi sprinkled in.

It's nothing like a teen drama, not unless treating relationships in a realistic and adult way is all it takes to qualify. Science fiction isn't about cool tech and explosions, it's about how these things might affect us now, orin the future. SGU is much more of a true scifi piece than SG-1 or Atlantis ever were.

i like the show but i think some relationships, eg: scott and chloe, telford vs young, happened a bit too quick but i ain't fussed to be honest.
