  • They are used for fighting not drum sticks -.-

  • I like you

  • so looking into getting these.. what size should i get?

  • nice

  • Aesthetically pleasant. Also, the sai thingy was OK.

  • You rock!

  • Hi :D You're very good. Can you record some tutorials? :D <3

  • badass !

  • Nice!

  • DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUR FINGERS SHOULD NEVER GO INSIDE THE GAURDS...

  • @MasterBarnes That's just cos you could injure your fingers if you're in a fight. That's not the same for spinning

  • Where do you go to buy a Sai(s) and where do you go to learn how to spin and fight (not that i will but it seems cool!)Please let me and the rest of us out there how!!!!!!! And i have watched other Sai videos and yours is by far the best! KEEP IT GOING GIRL!

  • Could you please suggest me any video that may help me practice? I'm buying sai next week :)

  • ye i wrapped mine with a thick rugby boot lace, done the job nicely its never come off and has increased the thickness of the grip so takes a little less time to grip

  • You're really talented with that... You Go Girl!!!!

  • can u do a tutorial plzzzz.

  • amazing vid you are great at the sai and i loved the song

  • wow youre awesome!

i have sais too, but mine are pretty heavy :(

    or are yours heavy too?

  • can u do a slo mo vid...lol your awesome

  • That was awesome! But yea you need to clean your room haha. DONT STAB ME!!

  • @boogeyla1 LOL! I agree and with the "Dont stab me" statement i say "you bite me i bite back harder, you stab me i stab back harder!" LOL and it was 3 years ago she proably cleaned her room by now...i would have...(probably.....depends...LOL)

  • So many people jealous she has some skill and they don't.

  • OMFG SHE CAN SPIN A SAI SHE IS THEREFORE A BEAST

  • Do not try this at home unless you are Asian!

  • Very impressive.

  • That was awesome

  • Clean your room. :) Nice work though.

  • i love my sais they are fun! i have green on one and pink wraping on the other and i spray painted them purple and blue lol

  • @NicoleAutumn46B im getting a pair:P

  • @008basher they are awsome! and really fun to i think if people knew what they were theyll be as famouse as a katana

  • every guy waching the vid isent looking at the sai's

  • I think you read lots of manga and watch anime...who wraps pink leather around their sai?

I can use a lot of weapons. You should check out my videos. Also empty hand is the most practical way to fight now days. Find someone to spar with sai and see what happens.

  • @MaharlikaAWA "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with judgement you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?" Matthew 7:1-3

I agree that sai's aren't all that practical in a real life situation, However it is useful to improve dexterity, strength and familiarity of weapons for applications in other art forms (Eskrima/Kali/Arnis) good luck

  • @ninjaFOOM verse taken out of contect from its biblical meaning.

Anyway I thnk sais can be used for self defense, especially in the home against attacks etc. But I just am curious if you do combat or train for that or just spinning tricks. Yes it trains for dexterity but then what? Do you know any kata?

  • @MaharlikaAWA lol your probably jealous that ya can't spin sai like her. Martial arts is not always for fighting/defense, it is also an art and a good source of exercise. If ya don't like it go somewhere else.

  • @TheDemon537 You are the typical dumb guy who posts "defense" responses to people in order to impress a hot girl in a video. I bet you watched this 20 times drooling over her like the other lonely mocdojo boys down below.

I dont think sai spins are stupid or talentless. This girl has talent with her twirling ability, all I asked was if there was any combat application. I can spin sai its easy. I can also use nunchukus, bo staff, eskrima sticks, and most importantly empty hand. Get over it!

  • @MaharlikaAWA No, you don't even know who am I. You seem kinda creepy spending days posting comments on her profile and video. I can tell that your insecure based on your own videos. Your views and likes are poor.

and what is with your previous comment?

"who wraps pink leather around their sai?"

-this sounds mean. whats is the point of that comment? And you gotta be colorblind.

  • @TheDemon537 Still more defense by the lonely teenager horndog who is the one who is truly obsessed with this girl. I am not obsessed I dont even care. If I post a comment and someone responds to me then ill post back and ask questions.

My videos are not poor in fact they are probably better than any skill you have and I would love for you to spar me kiddo. Or are you a 40 year old man on a teenage asian girls video? Think what you want I could care less. You are pointless.

  • @MaharlikaAWA Why do you bother proving yourself to a stranger? Ya must be insecure.

you said: "My videos are not poor in fact they are probably better than any skill you have and I would love for you to spar me kiddo"

"I think you read lots of manga and watch anime...who wraps pink leather around their sai?

I can use a lot of weapons. You should check out my videos. "

    -You sound sexist and arrogant.

how do you know everyone on the internet is a man or teenager?

  • @MaharlikaAWA I love you. Stop the fighting and have some love! Let's fighting love!

  • @TheDemon537 Stop with the south park references. If you want to be at peace and not fight then why post stupid responses accusing me of things that are obviously not true?

  • @TheDemon537 What is creepy is I just looked at your profile, you act like a whiny kid in high school yet it says you are a 45 year old man and from Thailand. What are you doing defending some random sai spinning girl? Wow now THAT is creepy you come off as a total perv. Get a life.

  • @MaharlikaAWA Did it said man?

    I though you didn't care:

you said "Think what you want I could care less. You are pointless"

You still responded to me...that means you love me! :D

  • @MaharlikaAWA

Anyways, you should be aware that ninjafoom while may watch anime, she has no delusions on sai and she also trains in various full contact styles and pound for pound much better than you.

  • Cool. Now go out and spar someone with them and see what happens.

  • Damnn!

  • I just bought a pair of sai,I'm only a ameture at american kung fu before I stopped classes but i'm hoping I can learn to use them right lol

  • Twirling them in a controlled manner trains hand dexterity and one's internal knowledge of the weight distribution in the weapon. Sais are quite simple to fight with offensively, but become slightly more complex when it comes to defense (sword-catching defense vs. blunt-weapon defense etc.) I've pretty much lived for studying and mastering martial arts since I was 10 and am now 21, I can safely say that she is skilled with the sai and the twirling is not just a useless showboating tactic.

  • @KarateAndGin its sad that I don't meet people this devoted to martial arts, at my school or in my hometown, and especially (not to sound sexist) a girl. However it is really refreshing to know that there actually are people out there that appreciate martial arts the way I do. Keep up the good work, and never stop breaking your limits :-D. Ganbatte!

  • @KarateAndGin Then post up some videos of you sparring someone while you use sais. Its easy to claim such things.

  • Beautiful asian girl.

  • how did you learn to spin them???

  • You are very beautiful. You must bring forth you're talent to an even more gracious Way, My Dear. You are more than capable of obtaining what you desire.

  • only a month??? wow you're really good ^_^

  • more F00Mage needed! LOL!

  • Very Bad ass. Lol. (:

  • OMG im in love

  • Should we expect new video? :) I'm sure you improoved for 4 years hehe

  • wicked video

  • DAM GIRL YOU SEXY

  • The new Elektra or Mileena(Mortal Kombat)

  • You are a BEAST....And Great song to sai spin tooo

  • very good!!! you should do another vid!!! if i ever meet a chick like you....mmmm

  • Will you marry me?

  • @ReaverRush good question hahaha...

  • WICKED!!!!!!

    How long were you trained?

  • I love sai so much.

Wow I haven't seen any strong cute girl like you before.

    I love martial art too.

  • I wanna learn how to do that!

  • That was ffucking awesome!

  • Wow, you are AMAZING!!! I want a pair of sais SOOOO bad!!!

  • Nice move!

  • that was crazy! straight up ninja turtle stuff right there haha jk but that was was amazing, i thought they were nunchakus for a second but nah, ill have to start training more with mine

  • wow they just stick to your hands!!! :)

  • can you recommend the video/book that you learned from? If you taught yourself, will you upload a tutorial for some of your moves? Thank you.

  • Great job! I'd love to see an updated video :) I just started, and am using your vid as my guideline for where I should be in a month ;)

    Ps, you're gorgeous too!

  • Skills

  • messy room! LOON! LOL!

  • omg! Must learn!!! Very awsome. You look so badass!

  • damn thats coowl :D

  • awesome 5 stars

  • Very awesome!

  • That was very cool

  • holy fuck.

  • Nice

  • Pretty decent

  • Comment removed

  • OMG awesome

  • Very good! It wasn't traditional style but I don't think that's what you were going for.

It was great freestyle! I see that you excel in things quickly when you practice. Your spins are good for understanding balance and getting the feel of the sai. Manipulating an object while spinning takes skill. Wonderful job!

Keep it up! Who knows how skilled you may become in time?

  • so where's the attack&defending ,other than that very nice

  • nice spin, nice girl :D

  • Gosh that is so cool!! :)

  • Very nice, I was trained traditionally so I can't spin them quite like that but I gotta get a vid up of the way I do it... Keep it up! = )

  • whats the song?

  • jem i think its called sorry or like this i dont remeber

  • i just got some sai last sat.

  • not a lotta people into sai.. its nice to see another. especially one so good so soon. keep up the good work.

  • Comment removed

  • ...you're amazing...please tell me where and how you learned this...i just ordered a sai today

  • nice vid your so cool with the sai take A look at my vid

  • where'd you learn this?

  • the lightings kinda bad. but good video.

  • Heya Vina, you look so cool with that sai daggers !!! i want ones =3

  • Is such type of daggers in chinesee martrial arts or only in japanesse? Exellent video.

  • ok im srry i dont mean to spam you but they are from japan but china use them to

  • Got any updates on your progress?

  • i was just wondering were you got your sai wrapped. it's aswome!!!! and you seem that you have been doing it more than just a month you might be better now giving that fact i don't know when you posted this but you are awsome. Keep Up The Good Work.

Hit me back and let me know please.

  • I wrapped them myself with random fabric/ribbon material I found laying around the house, because they get slippery with the original wrapping.

    -Vina

  • @ninjaFOOM

I wrapped mine with Black electrical tape. But I also have 2 pairs of sais and pretty much just tested with one pair before the other. The grip is smoother with the E-tape, but I seem to do ok with gripping them. If you get a chance to, I recommend you try it out. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

That aside, you're pretty good in this vid, you still practicing?

  • That's pretty good spinning for one month! You must practice a fair bit. I've only learnt how to spin yesterday. Had to find out for myself because my karate club doesn't do things like that with the sai.

  • looks and talent !

  • Cool! I've just got some sai, hope I'm as good as you one day. Can you do a slow video so we can see how to do it? How long does that take to learn?

  • Just starter to train with sai auto didacta.

    Great combs an inspiration.

    Now in my mother tongue:

A melodia combina com os soberbos movimentos e com a belissima que os executa.

  • ugh I can't do figure 8's. Havent practised in ages. Your brilliant ^-^

  • That was really cool. I wish my senseis were into weapons training, but they arent. Im doing Shotokan karate but, I think I will keep at that before I try some weapons. I do have pair of sai which are decades old. But they are too bg for me, like 21", 20" would be perfect. What I don't understand is why the handle seems really long on the ones I have, as whe holding the sai, my striking forefinger is like and inch of inch and a half from the bearing/ bludgeon.

  • you suck. Michaelangelo will kick your ass.

  • Ooops ! I meant Rafael

  • Nice. I would like to learn that too.

  • Very good!

One question tho: my sai are REALLY heavy! Are yours too, and are you just really good? Or should I get myself a lighter pair?

Thanks in advance. And keep up the good work. As will I ;)

  • Yeh they were pretty heavy at first. but

Practice, you'll get used to the weight, and It'll be nothing! ^__^

I don't recommend getting the lighter kind.

  • Thanks a lot for the info! ^^

    *poof* Off practicing!

  • Youre really good. Can you watch my video and tell me what you think?

  • man thats so cool!!!!...tru it kina is for show but u should be familiar with all tha different kind of movements u can do with it

  • This is a nice video but the twirling isn't really useful in a fight. The flipping is important but the twirling is just flashy for show.

  • My fuckin God woman!! You're good. I've been searching for videos of sai twirling but they're all crappy and they can't spin them as fast. Where'd you learn to spin? Oh and I've been thinking of what kind of sai's to get but I don't know wether I should get chrome or steel sai?? Can you help me out? Oh and where'd you get yours??

  • Awesome!

U should upload more this kinda videos!

  • Awesome!

U should upload more this kinda videos!

  • That is freakin awesome. Please post a video demonstrating how to do that.

  • thats awesome, you should post a video showing us how to spin the sai like that

  • i wish i could do that.

  • wher'ed you get them?

  • abouslty brialant 5 stars no actually youtube need to do 10 star ratings cos i give u 10 out of 10

  • is bery simple

  • Can you fight with them, not just twirl them?

  • Sure. Fighting with sai's is pretty simple?

    no?

Twirling is just a exercise to use them more efficiently. Strengthen wrist/hand and knowing your weapon.

  • Have you only been practicing for a month?????

  • Oh snap. You're well on your way to becoming a kunoichi.

  • haha nice. looks like u lost weight =P

  • round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round....

    LOL

  • hi how come u r such a good "practiser "?? can u answer me on "matriochka7 @hotmail . com" thx u r very impressive, i have sais too, since 2 days n dlike to do the same !

  • That's sweet! I like the video too and the music but you were the greatest part :O thats way cool ^-^

  • FOOM! ^__^;

    I messed up a lot.. @__@ ehhhhhhhhhhh I even dropped a sai.........

    Shhhhhhhhhh

    -Vina

  • Yay! FOOM! ^_^

  • Yeah, nothing like a cute chick with a blunt instrument! But the twirling and flipping isn't really ninja stuff, is it?
