  • Kasim on vocal ?

  • I saw this band in July 1977. Actually walked down and met them while the band Yes was setting up. Really friendly folks.

  • I won this great album in 1977 by calling into an Athens, Ohio, radio station. Thanks for posting and for prompting some sweet memories.

  • "and the day will come...when we can live as one..." I am hopeful, but not optimistic...

  • Everlasting love will get anybody through the night.

  • I'm 115 years old and Utopia is my favorite band !

  • love is the answer

  • ♥♥♥ There's a new day that's dawning ♥♥♥

  • このアルバムの中で、一際光る美しいメロディの作品、隠れた名曲とまで言いたい程です。

  • @unagocchin76 とてもよく言った!

  • How fabulous a 15 year old has found something that I listened to when I was young. Music unites. Todd is gifted in melody and lyrics. We are better for it!

  • Perhaps the best rock ballad EVER.

  • Music is truly the soundtrack of our lives...

  • Beautiful vocal rendition by a very young Kasim Sultan on his first outting with Utopia. Kasim nails this ballad and goes on to prove he is indeed the best vocalist in the band. ...with all due respect to rockgod TR

  • Glad you are now posting up all these lovelies by Todd Rundgren and /or Utopia.. There is a whole group of us out there.. that really Love All of This ..even though there might not be any Video or old films of this material. We All Love Todd Rundgren and Utopia , and the Wealth of Varied Material they have given us through the years.. Putting all this Music on YouTube lets others around the World see the wonderful Legacy of Eternal Love !! Rock Eternal Love, Cherry XO <3 ; )

  • @chelababy1 I am 15 years old, and Utopia is my favorite band (And Rundgren my favorite singer.) in the whole world. I really love them to death, and they inspire me, and they especially inspired my mother who even concived of a musical movie idea based on P.O.V. and their songs have carried me through tough times and happy times, and help me get through things. I really hope one day people realize how good they really are and refrain from keeping them the most underrated band/artist of all time

  • @Nightmaricvision Always glad to see younger people discover Utopia. You were lucky.. exposed to Todd Rundgren and Utopia by your Mom.. I hope you listen to Todd Rundgren's Solo Albums too.. as they are very Inspiring. I worked on a Biography about Todd Rundgren and Utopia .. I did it for Free just to help for 7 years.. in the Bio Author Billy James states that Most of all the Lyrics of Utopia where written by Todd even if some of the song writing was by all of the Other members <3

  • @chelababy1 Oh, I love Todd's solo albums. He's really great, and I was always really impressed with the idea behind "Acapella", and "Something To Fall Back On" is great, and I love Time Heals and The Healer from Healing. "The Night The Carousel Burnt Down" was like my childhood lullaby. I'm glad you have the energy and ability to go out and support Todd and them. One day, soon, I plan to sit down and write my mom's "Persistance Of Vision" idea.

  • @Nightmaricvision Also what I have done & will still do whether or not other people do it.. I go to Myspace, befriend Todd Rundgren. I make playlists100 at a time of his songs.. allowed by Myspace. I sign to, give TR credit.. & play his songs to raise him high up in the Classic Rock Indie Charts, and Global Rock Indie Charts.. There are 34 albums to listen to there. .If strangers see.. who is this TR up there on the charts?

They might check TR out, and then maybe check Utopia out. Exposure! <3

  • @Nightmaricvision Great taste in music!

  • @Nightmaricvision I really love and appreciate to hear that a young person of 15 years likes (and knows!) Todd and Utopia. Myself, being 50 years old admire him since 1978 when I was 17. Yet he never left me since then. He is a genius and it is somehow strange that he is not better known. Alas, mainstream music misunderstands the really great ones. Or should I say "fortunately"? Anyway: Teenagers usually cannot grasp such a kind of music. Thumbs up!

  • @Nightmaricvision Not trying to steal you're attention, just letting you know that you're not alone. I'm 14 and I feel the same way, I discovered them about a month ago and realized their greatness straight away. I'm going post them to different music websites and getting their popularity a lot better known. Anyone joining me in my quest? It's just what these guys deserve.
