This brings back so many memories of when I was a kid. I remember they would play this, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer", "Frosty the Snowman", the original "Grinch who Stole Christmas", and others that have slipped my mind. I'd eat christmas cookies with a cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows while watching it. These shows would come on in the evening.

I think I'm gonna have to get all these now on DVD so I can relive those memories.

I think the reason why Charlie Brown is so loved is because of the simplicity. It makes everyone stopes and evaluate their own greed. Plus, we have a Charlie Brown in us all, a very depressing side that just needs some cheer.

The houses were built far apart, but close enough for kids to know one another, four seasons every year, the kids were free to play in the streets or some field everyday, no parents around,...and it even had a pumpkin patch!
