At least Matt Cooke doesn't taunt injured players...Cooke has been in the league for over 800 games; Gillies should not reach 60.
Gillies is an ass with no class! That said, the officiating lost control of this game very quickly.

Ive said it once, and Ill say it again: You wanna watch a true tough HOCKEY PLAYER go back and watch film of Probert, Domi, etc. Guys that backed down from no one, actually scored some points (Gillies has 220 PIMs and 2 pts in 48 career games), and fought straight up waaaaaay more times than they threw cheap shots

The genius of the Pens organization is the foresight to not only sign a Mario/Jagr, or Crosby/Malkin but to also sign some of the biggest cheap shot artists in the game. It's brilliant. They don't have to worry about their stars taking career ending hits cause they always manage to sign the Ulf's and Matt Cooke's too. Mario has a lot of nerve complaining about cheap play.
