This is by far the most informant and detailed of installing Ubuntu, Great job!...I just have one question, Do you have to download this to a cd? or what exactly is the iso on the cd?...thanks again bro, you da man
@UPRRman iso dude the "image" of a cd.If you dont want to use physicall cd's you can have iso which is an extension thats recognised by your system as a cd......i think so :P
after i downloaded the iso file and followed u r instructions...when i start the virtual machine i wasnt able to start into the system like u did...i ended up choosing the install option in command prompt
@johnmunoz18 Yes when you create the Virtual machine you are using resources from your PC. So for example you will be using hard disk space from your Physical Hard disk and you will be using physical memory

@mattsaundersmcp No, what im asking about is when your installing, and your at the part where you need to Allocate drive space, you picked the option "Erase and use the entire disk. Is this gonna erase my actual computers disk?
@xXILiketoSpamXx No it will not erase your computers actual disk. When you create a virtual machine in VMware you are installing the OS into a file on the computer hard disk.
love u !!!!!!!
