  • Shit, i didn't know who Henry Rollins was until i start listening to Black Flag... Now that i know, i wanna kiss him :P

  • Where's the REALLY LIKE button ? Anyone Know ?

  • I never realized he restarts the song at :55

  • How's it possible to push the "don't like" button is completely out of my mind. oO

  • This is blummin' perfect

  • This is one of my favorite songs off of The Eraser. Very good performance of it. I prefer the studio version of it a bit more but this is also excellent.

  • It's all boiling over..

  • It's all boiling over..

  • THEY MESSED UP!!!!!!!!!!!! TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Better than the album version.

  • Hey Johnny when ur done withe ondes martinot can I have it?

  • only on a radiohead video would neither of the top-rated comments be about that girl in the beginning...I love it.

  • @cahaveit

its funny you say that actually. a couple of the past months ( 6'ish) the top comments were about the girl in the beginning.

  • It's amazing how effective that simple beat it. It works with no many types of songs and really preserves the natural space in music that should be present more, but sadly isn't. I'm glad Radiohead knows how to make music.

  • @YamahaStageCustomAdv I do. One reason I particularly don't like this song too much.

  • he is starting to repeat himself...

  • Does she say "simple rush" ?

  • Nigel Godrish roxx at the charleston rush !!

  • Brilliant!

  • thatwasgood

  • doesnt anyone notice that the chorus of this song is almost the same as "there there" chorus?

  • @YamahaStageCustomAdv Beyond the usage of "there", I never really thought too much about it...the song still feels wholly original to me, at least.

  • 'and it was all yellow!!!!!'

  • @SuperNoobTroll ? How does this come here?

  • (0:10) lol that girl looks like the girl from Scary Movie.

  • jonny :D

  • This is better than the album version in my opinion, I like far more.

  • Best version.

  • if you guys havent already seen it

    type in radiohead scotch mist

    amazing!

  • does anyone know what drum machine he's using?

  • @yourfriendg00 Roland tr-909

  • @yourfriendg00 @yourfriendg00 Roland tr-909

  • so much brilliance confined in such a small space

  • beautiful

  • yeaaah is great. thanks for video. thom yorke is amazing and jonny too

  • thom yorke = genious

  • Best ever

  • Wow!

  • amo a thom yorke

  • yorke and greenwood brilliant as always

  • much better than the album version..awesome.

  • this music shows how shitty the world and everyone in it is

  • @NorthTxBalla

The only way to know shitty is to have the seen the better......show me

  • OMG they rock.

  • I wonder if Henry Rollins will ever release an album of all these live performances? It'd be one hell of a great album

  • @MrStevesutton

Great idea! i sure hope so!

  • i wish he performed it with them everytime

  • I love the Rhodes in this song... beautiful

    Thom is good too :)

  • you guys are lame ass morons... taking up over an entire page of comments with your stupid over-the-internet-fights. The comments are for the video, not for you to prove how tough you are by getting in a virtual fight.

  • @FabuLillianous Here here!

  • All of the comments below mine are shallow and pedantic.

  • Be-low me. :)

  • No you suck , thom and jonny rule!!!

  • wats greenwood playin

  • its an analouge systems french connection . kinda similar to his ondes marenot synth except smaller

  • nice one for that. ive gotta get myself one of them hauntin mother fuckers

  • This sends me into a trance every time I watch it

  • Heidi sucks!

  • i wonder howmany people can imagine why he's crying @ the end...

  • why is he?

  • He's not crying. What're you talking about?

  • wow. simply amazing.

  • what happens when you actually play the keys on an ondes

  • A mexican dies.

  • Vete a la mierda

  • i gotta say i thought id never see Henry rollins introducing thom yorke its like pizza introducing icecream both are nice but.....just a little weird

  • Oh man this is top notch

  • i like the way that thom says realy cockney

    "start again"

  • Really want an Ondes Martenot like Jonny's using. Anyone know where I can get one?

  • im sure you can ask any local instrument dealer about ordering one?

  • i saw thom at latitude, it was amazing

  • Correction, Ondes Martenot.

  • Looks like an Electro-Theremin to me.

  • Yip it's a Thereimin. Russian invention. This arrangement must be a nod in the direction of the Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin and Portishead.

  • What kind of instrument is Jonny Greenwood playing on?

    Anyone knows?

  • ondes martenot, i think that's how it is spelt

  • uh, i love him

  • Radiohead are pure genii. (L)

  • wow this "live" version was almost better than the album

  • the host's are cunts

  • Says the person that doesn't know how to use an apostrophe.

  • woah grammer police right there

  • grammar* ;)

  • Where can I download these versions? Im only able to find deactivated links... and that sux = haaalp plz

  • freecoder software you can just download it right here off youtube. You can choose your own bitrate and everything.

  • sounds so much like a theramin in there

  • Quzie, it's an Ondes Martenot, which is very similar to the theramin. Look it up.

  • The Ondes Martenot is nothing like a theramin. WTF are you talking about?

  • i kinda think it is more like 1+1=1...seamless unity through sound!:D

  • Stryderules, I couldn't have put it better myself! It is truly amazing what Thom's come up with here, without utilising many layers. Absolutely subtle and f*cking amazing!

  • It works so well that Thom Yorke decided to pinch this chord sequence from There There

  • just in the final part, but it's not the same SEQUENCE, just two consecutive chords.

  • How can he pinch something from his own song?

  • ive been trying to figure out forever what instrument jonny is on... if anyone knows please tell.... ( obviously some type of synth, if you know the specifics please let me know)

  • Comment removed

  • Ondes Martenot

  • actually its a french connection, jonny commissioned analogue systems to make it for him so he didn't ruin his ondes, as they are very rare.

  • GENIOOO

  • I loved this.

  • They're musical genius.

  • really cool song. hadn't heard this one before

  • where have have you been?

  • lol the introduction does look like a spoof

this makes me feel like their music takes them slightly into another world

  • greenwood's solo = sound a star makes when it's in decay .

  • ...wow...

    breathtaking...

    vulnerable and optimistic...

and a great beat to it as well...

    got 5 from me thatsforsure

  • The way they introduce songs on this show seems almost like a spoof.

  • where do you get this version?! i kinda like the simplicity

  • AMAZING!!!

  • The best music ever! Thom is my God

  • The intro does not suffice.

  • xclnt

  • 1.2.3.4.start.a.gain

  • The time i made my first contact with Yorke was in the early 90s... it was my skating/nirvana time and i know what i thought after hearing OK Computer the 1st time a few years later.

After all this years... it wasnt Cobain or any kinda Grunge ... in the overview i have to admit : RadioHead did direct my conducts in the musical world for 13 years now. The best is yet to come... `ChR

  • what's wrong with she? she should know she's introducing a GOD.

  • No matter where and how I am Radiohead makes me feel like its gonna be ok. :)

  • QUE BESTIA!

  • Despite all the angry rhetoric regarding this and other artist's music, I must say this is really a great rendition of an outstanding song. Regardless of the scholarly interpretation, it remains timeless and influential.

    Epic.

  • This is a great experience.

  • hahaha nigel comes in...hes a cool guy

  • THOM YORKE I LOVE YOU!!!!

  • ME TOO!

  • thom york and johnny greenwood must be aliens because this music sounds like it's from another planet. fuckin fantastic. finally something new for humans.

  • I like this more than the album version

  • "now radiohead fans have even more to smile about."

was she taking the piss there?

  • WHAT THE FUCK WAS SHE ON?

    HELIUM?

She sound's like a dumb bitch and she probably couldn't tell Thom Yorke from Ne-yo without a auto-cue or cue-card.

  • 'No more conversation

    No more conversation

You should took me out when you had the chance

You should took me out when you had the chance

    All the rooms were numbered

    And the losers turned away

    Don't turn away

    Don't turn away"

    "ohhhh ohhhhh ooohhhhhh"

    *ratatatattatata ratatattat ratatatat* (drum beat)

  • love thom's music. beautiful.

  • music for the soul!!!!!!!

  • Interesting seeing this being performed, it sounds different. Amazing as always from Mr Yorke.

  • wow she sucks at introducing a genius

  • shes bringin it hard with the hotness tho

  • excelente presentacion , excelente musica, excelente melodia

    gracias por subir estos videos,....

    un saludo

  • isn't that what radiohead is?

  • well. i guess if they will be just the two of them they will be an electronica duo. personally i love the latest album when they have the drummer behing them to intruduce human playing which cant equate drum machines.

  • phil plays in every album...

  • Thom yorke and Johnny greenwood are GODS! they should do a project together =) gotta love nigel on drum machine also XD

  • They already have a project together, called Radiohead.

and Nigel is so good. Like George Martin was the 5th Beatle, Nigel is the 6th Radiohead.

except Radiohead are so much better.

  • aha very true, i just ment like if they went on another hiatus or something

  • 3:51 = end = end of There There. So similar.

  • i just figured that out the other day :)

  • Cymbal Rush is a mighty magical musical masterpiece.

  • alliteration much?

  • losers turned away

    don't turn away

  • Both this and the album version are great, in different ways. A good song is a good song. And these two guys are amazingly talented!

  • radio head and Yorke is here to stay. for a long time to come...

  • Heidi looks like a fucking retard.

  • i prefer this version to the album one

  • thom yorke creates beauty.

  • wow! those guys are talented

  • I like cymbal Rush,

I like the percussion and the effects of Jonny Greenwood. Is very good song of The Eraser

  • <3!!

  • i really like this

  • i like the drums on this better than the studio version, although both are great

  • This guy is amazing!

  • i lob this guy, i lob his songs ,i lob everything about him!

  • Amazing theramin. Reminds me of where i end and you begin.

  • its an Ondes Martenot

  • i cymbal rush it all day long, i don't give a shit!

  • Some Guy Just came Out Of Nowhere And Started Playing With them... Lucky...

  • I believe is nigel..their producer

  • i think a lot of the live versions are better than the album. the album kinda seems a little empty, but the live performances are more beautiful. but that's just one man's opinion.

  • RH is amazing live! Pity gas is so expensive. This is the first summer they've toured that I'll miss them. :(

  • me too. :(

  • it sounds so fucking clean and amazing, and what is even more astonishing, is seeing him perform it live.

  • wtf?! this is amazing!

  • Bloody hell. That is a better version than is on the album.

  • henry rollins is a god , thom yorke is a god , and jonny greenwood is a god , im a god.
