God! I wish i was born in the late 70's so i could go to all these cons, and they would be cheap to go to too! And to meet the actors at there early peaks of success would make it easier to get an autograph!

Every era has its sucky crap. But I would guess that in 1986 there was more room to move (even if it was sometimes dangerous to do so).
