Some more detail on HOW the trap is actually constructed would be great. A quick pic and the words "it all depends on this toggle" isn't actually all that helpful.
By the way, you might like to take a look at permaculture, and questioning indigenous people as to whether they used it.

When I was in college, I knew this guy in his 50's who make his own bows and arrows and hunted barefoot. He taught me flint knapping and arrow making. He hunted barefoot so he can feel for twigs and things that make noise as he approach an animal within arrow shot. I still remember him telling me to bring at least three things when out in the woods, a blade, fire tool, and a compass. He was a quiet guy who built is own house for him and his wife deep in the forrest. I think his name was George.

Thats because most peoples feet are to tender to go barefoot and the reason they are so tender is the lack of calluses that walking barefoot encourages. It is actually better on your feet and ankles to go barefoot. Your barefoot also tends to twist and bend a lot more than a shoe ever will giving you better traction on irregular surfaces like rocks.
So what does walking around bare foot prove? If anything that's bad, he has cracks on his feet, with blood coming out of the cracks, that can't be good for survival. I thought you were supposed to take care of your feet during a survival situation. You don't have to kill yourself to prove you love nature. You need to where shoes out in the wild! Does he think he's an offical Indian because he's not wearing shoes? That's right, because wearing shoes takes you so far away from nature...
yeah you do need to take care of your feet but wearing shoes in some cases actually makes things worse or requires you to actually do more than needed for example if your feet get wet and stays wet for quite a while wearing shoes do you know what happens well you start to get trench foot which could lead to gan green and the loss of your foot or your life but this guy doesnt wear shoes when hes home and hes not saying that your not in touch with nature if you dont ware shoes its his choice

When I was in college, I knew this guy in his 50's who make his own bows and arrows and hunted barefoot. He taught me flint knapping and arrow making. He hunted barefoot so he can feel for twigs and things that make noise as he approach an animal within arrow shot. I still remember him telling me to bring at least three things when out in the woods, a blade, fire tool, and a compass. He was a quiet guy who built is own house for him and his wife deep in the forrest. I think his name was George.

Thats because most peoples feet are to tender to go barefoot and the reason they are so tender is the lack of calluses that walking barefoot encourages. It is actually better on your feet and ankles to go barefoot. Your barefoot also tends to twist and bend a lot more than a shoe ever will giving you better traction on irregular surfaces like rocks.

So what does walking around bare foot prove? If anything that's bad, he has cracks on his feet, with blood coming out of the cracks, that can't be good for survival. I thought you were supposed to take care of your feet during a survival situation. You don't have to kill yourself to prove you love nature. You need to where shoes out in the wild! Does he think he's an offical Indian because he's not wearing shoes? That's right, because wearing shoes takes you so far away from nature...

yeah you do need to take care of your feet but wearing shoes in some cases actually makes things worse or requires you to actually do more than needed for example if your feet get wet and stays wet for quite a while wearing shoes do you know what happens well you start to get trench foot which could lead to gan green and the loss of your foot or your life but this guy doesnt wear shoes when hes home and hes not saying that your not in touch with nature if you dont ware shoes its his choice
