Sweet vid, but that's definately not the first turbo BMW in the 9s. Not even the first e36 turbo beemer in the 9s. I had a turbo 96 328i (S52 swap) run 9.87 back in 1999 and I wasn't even the first in Miami.
@daytonaM3 Almost 19, lol, I've been building and racing cars since I was 15. I found some of my slips, my car actually broke into the 9s in '98. I'll post a link as soon as I get a chance. There was this one guy from Puerto Rico that was always faster than me, but then again he was spraying to help spool up his 76mm turbo and had lightweight seats and stuff.
It is a US spec engine.
