Hockey is basically a very dangerous sport, we canadians arn't pussies when it comes to picking sports... And the weird thing is, Clint malarchuk (goalie), was a buffalo goalie... Richard Zednik (player), got cut by a buffalo player...
Huge fan of the show for years but nothing makes me more uncomfortable than when Opie talks about sports. Every douche chill inducing syllable of when he claims to be a "Big hockey guy" is unbearable. It's one thing if he claimed to be a casual fan being that he is incapable of accurately discussing anything outside of league standings that he glanced at 15 minutes prior to the show. But to claim to be a "BIG hockey fan" is ridiculous.

Zednik was cut by Jokinen's skate, his teammate. It is odd that this happened in Buffalo again though.

Actually Zednik got cut in the neck by Olli Jokinen's skate as he got flipped by a sabres player. :)
