im from kuwait i know everyplace in kuwait all the families ur story doesnt make sense for me as a kuwaiti and im disappionted in a way thatits impossible to me to bieleve what ur saying to way in earth that what ur saying is true
Ooh and one more thing there were Kuwaiti hostages at ur country for more than 5 years and they didn't come back yet & ur making us look like the bad people !!
Ok ok ... U shouldn't go on saying bad stuff about my country when obviously it is all because of ur country that he is in prison anyways, and by the way u shouldn't say things to make us look like the bad people & u should go say that to ur president instead of posting a youtube video making us look like the bad people. It's really offensive towards us espcially beacuse Kuwaiti's are muslims and we would not consider any other american muslim as a terrorist unless your country says that they h
Dude don't talk shit did you see shit no i don't think so you just read and make it a video and airport is not in kuwait city you dump ass.you talk like if you were with him i say got get knowledge instead of hearing news about gulf people.dont say american are helping us offcurse they will help us because what we have if gulf countries and arab countries join together belive me you can do shit just wait اشهد ان لا اله اللله او اشهدو ان محمد سيدنه و ؤرسوله
get out of youtube u have no use for us jackass liar asshole talk and talk but you are a jackass in my book literally b word fu liar Asshole do you know anwar
First of all and before u talk about that guy tortured in kuwait, tell us about the kuwaiti guys in guantanamo for like 10+ years for no reason, the reason is why they visited Afghanstan.. ok maybe some of them terrorist but we sure alot of them are not
I respect the message your trying to send, but umm... interrogation happens in every airport. My friends gets interrogated almost everytime they go back to the united states to continue their studies. But confessing things that he never did is the thing leading to complications. Not to mention the 16 years old Kuwaiti boy who is imprisoned in Guantanamo for a year now I guess... =\ I'm sorry but...
that's wierd well i'm a kuwaity girl and i hve never seen something like that in our airport it's imposibble in here they can't torture him without any risson !!! maybe they recived some thing from some one in us telling the to takeinformation from him blive me q8 treat americans like they are some kind of treasure _________ but travling to yamen and the ethiopya to learn more about islam??? that is suspicious because ppl thier need 2 learned :/
Let's see... he traveled first to Yemen and then to Ethiopia... and then to Kuwait where American, British and other western forces have a base of operations... Looks suspicious to me.
gulet mohamed decided to learn about islam in yemen?!!! thats the last place any muslim would wanna learn islam... and then he decided to go to somalia then kuwait!! i would certainly be suspicious..
I know he might be on the 'no fly" list, but can't he come back over legally by boat? I mean it would take him maybe a month or more to get there but it has to be better than jail.
Of course this is unjust 'as stated' but I have to ask what he was really searching for in his origins.
Let's put it this way, if Italy , Rome and the Vatican still practiced crusades and the inquisition (maybe a different outcome in WW2 or the Protestant reformation didn't happen) how trusting of a roman catholic should we be or even could we be for 'just' wanting to go see the pope ?
@Curas1 *facepalm* If your point is that in this dueling theocratic atmosphere, there is little difference between an accusation, and a politically perceived "reality", then I agree.
If however you are implying that "we" are not in the middle of a war of "Holy Dominions", then I strongly disagree. Have you still not researched the Dominionist's Agenda? The people in actual charge, whom would profess to share your ideals, are far more bathed in blood than I think you allow yourself to perceive.
@Curas1 Do you know how much of the inquisitions were done BY the Lutherans? WWII, was a very Holy war, a productive collaboration between the Catholics and Lutherans. Now think about Truman's creation of the state of Israel, then Eisenhower's broadcast of 50 years ago this week, then JFK's assassination 2 years later, then the installation of the first fully Dominionist puppet on 11/4/80. It irks me, on behalf of the honest person in you, that you still practice a religion, & you don't know it.
BTW, it's not that I haven't noticed all the thought going into your responces to me, it's just I haven't had the energy to really give you a decent reply and you do make me want to put in the effort.
As much as I've tried to study the life and times of Martin Luther though, that age and history always gave me a headache.
If you watch THeYougnTurks, they told us about how a University had done an experiment (to their student, without their knowledge) and a bunch of people were accused of doing something bad (maybe it was stealing a cellphone, I can't remember) and even though no one had stolen anything, about half of them just confessed to doing it (even though they knew they were innocent and they were). I hope that the Teen gets out and comes back...fuck Obama, he's a republican in sheep's clothing.
He did travel to Somalia and Yemen, two hotbeds of anti-American radicalism to learn Arabic? Can't go to the library or the local college? Also, how is he was born in Somalia, his parents live in somalia, yet he claims he grew up in America?
@niggerfuckshitreborn But to travel to Two countries with radical Anti-American attitudes just to learn a language or two, when there are web cams and e-learning? Not to mention classes at local mosques. BTW: I'm holding the deed to the Golden Gate Bridge, interested?
I say free him , plus I think it's the US that instigated his arrest . I don't think Kuwait by any means would detain people just becasue of their religeon , after all it's a muslim country no matter how liberal it is and many muslim americans and from all over the world go to Kuwait all the time and this is the first time I hear of such incident take place in Kuwait.
This reminds me of what Americans used to do to regular muslims just becasue of their names . Kuwait is a good country and I've been there so don't generalize this incident on the whole country.
I know many peoples rights are being thrown out, but this story is strange. How did he get a cell phone and was allowed to talk to the NY Times for 90 minutes while in custody. Did he just happen to have their number? I'm not sure if his story makes much sense. What am I missing?
@darbone You're right, that part of the story perplexed me too... But, I'm guessing what happened is that he had his stuff with him while being transferred and got the cell phone out of one of his bags. Then, if it was a smartphone, just looked up the NYTimes number online.
