Gewoon een vraagje , ik heb het nog niet voorgehad , maar stel dat je de barriers vh circuit beschadigd bij een crash , krijg je dan een factuur thuis of kan zoiets via een verzekering worden betaald?!

Kvroeg het me maar eventjes af feitelijk...

Misschien moet je ook gewoon terugschakelen voor de bocht inplaats van in de bocht.. Schade aan de carosserie valt nog te overzien.. Jammer van de mechanische schade..

I would hazard a guess that the Marshals were warning of perhaps oil contamination on the circuit, you can se then waving at the driver to slow down shortly before the crash......

I'd love to drive those recovery trucks. Endless laps round the ring so you would know it like the back of your hand, learn where people make common mistakes (cause your scraping their car off the wall) and get you hands on some of the best cars in the world

I have also crashed a car in Nordschleife... I was at sunny winter day, a lot of ice and cold water on the road... I drove without ESP, and suddenly while i was curving the car lost its control, ran over the stripes, than i had only time to turn the wheel and get again on the road... It was my first time on Nordschleife, but not the first time on a SpeedRing...

Althoug, nice car, im also a Clio owner, unfortunetly here in Brazil we dont have such a nice clio avaiable to buy. check out my videos.

Hi,

I'm from Belgium and have driven this circuit a few times with my MX-5 and my K1200S and I can assure you the Nordschleife is the most dangerous circuit of the world. Every year people die riding it. There are a lot of blind turns and there are spots that make the car almost weightless. An average of 100 laps is needed to know the 22,8km long circuit with 176 turns. Don't humiliate people if you've never driven there yourself. The point of posting a crash is meant to learn from it.

Aandrijfas gebroken/motorsteun afgebroken/draagarm krom..... meer shade onder de motorkap als aan de buitenkant! dat is gebeurd doordat ik de klap vooral met mijn r-voorwiel geraakt heb!. (was best pijnlijk voor mijn bankrekening!)

ja, heftige ervaring...das nog zwak uitgedrukt. Vroeger had ik een bmw maar nu heb ik een opel astra van het werk.Zelfs met die diesel was het kicken en in de bochtige afdaling kon ik een tijdje een porsche bijhouden. Ik genoot van elke seconde en had ik het geld, dan kocht ik mij een buitenverblijf tegen dat circuit.ook gewoon kijken naar al die duitserkes met hun bmw s en porsches is een belevenis. Er is er altijd wel eentje die in de fout gaat :-)

From the sound you came off the power at the apex, you should have kept the throttle constant and you would have been OK. nice car..... ouch!
