The day Germany lost the war was the day America and Europe became lost and engulfed in multiculturalism . I was thinking helmets of border guards in Czechoslovakia.

It why I study these raw films....how often do you see a line of Wehrmacht soldiers with one oddball like this.

Maybe trivial, but I am always looking for things that don't fit accepted/official "historical accounts"

As far as I can see, the writings of the shops in the background are in croatian or serbian. So it must be during the invasion of Yugoslavia or during the anti-partisan duty. The Yugoslav forces also used the Adrian helmet, as the french did.

My guess is: Yugoslav soldier.

This is what makes studying these recently released raw films so interesting and educational to watch.

Especially films that contradict or pose questions to mainstream historical accounts.

I know the Croats sided with Deutschland, but uniforms are not my stong point.

I advice you to check out uncut footage of WW2. These cut clips cant provide enough source to study, I mean in the clip the scenes jumping from front to another which is sometimes confusing. I like to think about the older times when I watch a doc film. With these clips its a bit harder but not impossible. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. :)

Yes, I have already subscribed to many raw WWII channels.

One video stands out in my head,

May 1945 footage of American and armed Wehrmacht soldiers in Italy conversing and exchanging small items and Wehrmacht soldiers leaving to return home with Italian civilians waving goodbye!

In all, the Germans still have their rifles/pistols!
