My point was that even with majority being unbelievers, it doesn't dramatically change anything in the world, and through that verse I meant to emphasize that not the majority will enter the kingdom of heaven, even if it may look that the world doesn't rely on the existence of God, it will be known to us in the metaphysical way sooner or later. @jahoodunrama I recommend you reading it more closely while you are an adulthood and than try to evaluate it more precisely because I know when I was in my 8-16 years old I barely even paid closed attention to details that were written in it and so on, and another factor about reading Bible is that ones you read for example new testament ones, you will never read it the same next time. Being skeptical may be both good and bad which should be looked according to situations of course.

My point was that even with majority being unbelievers, it doesn't dramatically change anything in the world, and through that verse I meant to emphasize that not the majority will enter the kingdom of heaven, even if it may look that the world doesn't rely on the existence of God, it will be known to us in the metaphysical way sooner or later. I was never talking about abstract existence or metaphysics, just pure physics. Scientists test for stuff they cant see all the time, such as particles and anti-matter.

@jahoodunrama Well, it just smells a lot like there may be unwillingness to believe in Gods word that brought us to a point where we are now, talking of the metaphysical tests, if that helps you understand my first sentence. I guess I was talking more of philosophers since they are the ones that focus on "intangible aspects of reality that lack a direct connection to nature." And I also think we are not on the same page since you talked about pure physics.

@vahhho philosophy is just thought exercises really. abstract existence of things such as love are dependant on people to feel them thus without people they wouldnt exist or be thought of. much the same with deities, they arent tangible, real, things anywhere but in the heads of believers and without the believers to make them up in the first place they would suffer the same fate as the previously mentioned 'love'.

@jahoodunrama but as I know, philosophy considers most of the subjects such as pure physics, mathematics, and their own principles to make their exercises easier. "Abstract existence" of love, but it is there no matter what and people try to find out what love really is and so on because its a feeling. @vahhho they are still thought exercises, they still require a person to think them up. And no, love isnt there if there arent people (or select animals) around to feel it. My point is (and what i was trying to say with that last sentence), in the end, abstract existence is not actual existence since it requires a mind to give it existence.
Same applies to the afterlife and deities, the original point of the discussion.

Mind is also something metaphysical I believe (compared to brain), so is soul, which in my beliefs is different from mind, brain, body, and which follows to the afterlife. Your basically saying that this would be without that. What is the point of saying that? If we have what we have today than most of what we argued about may also be there (like real love, real God, etc) but maybe without clear explanation or valid evidence/proof for you.

@jahoodunrama my point is that there are many metaphysical things that don't have a proof but without proof or evidence we have some sort of thoughts, feelings, ideas that those metaphysical things exist and we believe in them even though we don't directly see them. Other than that, there's basically nothing to argue about since you just choose to believe what you see.

@jahoodunrama What I meant is something like love. People can assume what love is for them but they will never understand the true meaning of love. Same can go with God. At least we know how unicorn looks like and I don't believe in its existence, but I do believe in scriptures that nobody seen God but Jesus was sent to save us through him and if you don't believe in afterlife than there's no point to argue that there is no God, Jesus, and that Bible is fake which you have to prove also.

You just filter whatever I write with your knowledge and don't understand half of what I write which doesn't matter anyways. As I said, you are free to believe what you want, my goal was to inform, and it is up to you to find evidence if its true or not. We just touched too many broad topics that may take months to talk about, that's why it's difficult to stay on topic.

And it was hardly information, it was a bible verse diffuse enough to be applied to any subject one chooses, which is common for the bible.

@jahoodunrama The reason why is because there are plenty of encouraging, good, motivated, or brainwashed, however you want to call them, preachers or religious people who don't go around circles like I do maybe because they may be more wiser or professional than me. i dont believe that you believe everything that the bible says. I doubt there is even one fully honest christian completely devoted to everything in the bible, just on the basis that the bible contradicts itself over and over both literally and morally.

I also believe that you believe that I don't believe everything that Bible says because it is not easy to understand, and many places there are hard to interpret. Read 2 Peter 3:16 if you don't mind. Give me an example of contradiction.

man is basically good in that, left to our own devices we are altruistic in nature but culture and environment can breed some very malicious people. and the other is referring to the einstein (iirc) quote about stupidity.
again, google is your friend; a search for "contradictions in the bible" should yield enough results. i cant remember any off the top of my head other than the father of Joseph.

@jahoodunrama I recommend you reading it more closely while you are an adulthood and than try to evaluate it more precisely because I know when I was in my 8-16 years old I barely even paid closed attention to details that were written in it and so on, and another factor about reading Bible is that ones you read for example new testament ones, you will never read it the same next time. Being skeptical may be both good and bad which should be looked according to situations of course.
