and the Whispers had just hit the scene , and Yes ! It was a Great Day ....

What a awesome thought provoking song, the Whispers song writers were truly inspirational. Each and every day that we're "blessed" to wake up and enjoy should inspire us to examine "ourselves" to search, find out, investigate what is our sole purpose in this life. I know you may be saying "here we go again someone preaching", well no, just as I'm learning daily what "true life" entails, you should seek to find the true,meaningful, fulfilling meaning of life. I think the year was 1967, Bob White of KDIA had passed and Bob Jones played this song for a dedication of his contribution to the Oakland/SF Bay Area! Hallelujah baby, it's gonna be a "Great Day" this morning!  It still has powerful impact hearing it!
