  • I wish I could be Sailor Mercury!

  • She says it so much better in the English dub than in the lame original. I'm sorry but her voice is much more powerful and fierce in the English dub. Hooray for Mercury!! XD

  • isn't weird the fact that mercury is so hot, and sailor mercury uses water power?

  • @james16181001 Always wondered that too, but scientifically speaking, it is only hot on the day side. On the night side however, it can actually reach at least -185 below zero or lower since it has no atmosphere to keep it stable like the earth. Besides, I think they were mainly basing her element off of the Chinese Wu Xing Philosophy where the Water element is in alignment with the planet Mercury. All the Inner Scouts are based off this, if you think about it.

  • LOL!!, I love the British accent Ami makes when saying "ACKWA", I still prefer this over Mercury Ice Storm Blast, but I fucking love the Japanese Version.

  • who doesnt like that drop of water, so epic!

  • Aqak? She doesn't say it very well

  • @gianteatingtaco It's probably just her accent :3

  • I think this is the only attack where the name of the scout's planet isn't said first.

  • @AlskaNoelle No. In the english dub, sometimes Uranus and Neptune say theirs without the planet name. :)

  • NO ONE

  • Ackua?

  • No one can beat this sailor mercury voice..

    NO ONE

  • And this from the movie Heart in ice

  • @LadyGagasPrincess

    Thank you so much!

  • fuck that was really bad jap version waaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy better

  • Where can I find this show? I've been DYING to watch it again! Japan or English would do!

  • Haa fake British accent! ;)

  • @b1njjj95 .......................she wasnt trying to put on an english accent and lol this dont even sound british at all so go get ur ears fixed u dum idiot lol

  • @XXsoXXextremeXX

Wowww...you decided to repeat the same thing over...and yet you still failed to realize that I was JOKING. And you call me the idiot. Ha.

  • @b1njjj95 HA btw its not EXACTLY the same thing sheesh!

  • Mercurys a water bender xD jk

  • sailor mercurys prettiest attack :)

  • Everytime I see her attack with that voice she also sounds Australian when she says Illusion

  • I love the sound effects on this.

  • Wait is this the DiC{k} dub or the WWI?

  • @Prankster206 DiC Dub. This is when DiC dubbed the last episodes of SM R and tried to improve somewhat. (Originally there were only 65 episodes in syndication. The last 16 or so episodes were dubbed by DiC much later on, and they added a few of the original names, original sound effects such as the crystal locket when transforming).

  • I hate how she pronounces it like ack-wuh instead ock-wuh

  • it can be pronounced both ways

  • She looks sexy when she does that attack.

  • :D Agreed.

  • My favorite Mercury attack <3

  • the one attack where the sailor scout does'nt mention her respective planet in its name

  • Besides the Outer's attacks in the original

  • What about sparkling wide pressure in Sailor Moon S?

  • true but isn't sometimes called "Jupiter Thunder Clap Zap!"? IDK if those are two separate moves

  • They're the same move. She said thunder clap in R and Sparkling wide in S. BTW, Do you know why it's called sparkling wide pressure?

  • Sparkling Wide Pressure, I believe is the Japanese name. In the English adaptation, it was primarily called Jupiter Thunderclap Zap, but other names included the original name, Jupiter Thunder Power, Superior Sparkling Thunder, Supreme Thunder Crash, or, on one occasion, "Thunder!" Most likely because there are several similar words that Sparkling Wide Pressure can translate to in English. But when the alternative name was translated in to Japanese it's meaning changed.

  • Sparkling wide pressure? Hello?

  • ...did she just say Ackwa?

  • No, she didn't saw Ackwa, she said aqua. It's how the word is supposed to be pronounced in real English, but North American english has it pronounced a bit differently. Not bashing, I'm from Canada so it's not usually pronounced like she did it here, but that's the real pronunciation. Also, in the dub, she kind of has an english accent, so it really does fit.

  • Hmm, I didnt know that was the original pronunciation, I've always thought it was Awkwa everywhere. Ok.

  • Besides the dub, there is also a difference in sound effects; those used to the japanese subbed SM episodes will note this difference.

  • She says aqua weird 0_0

  • she does lol

  • theres no difference jst shine aqua illusion is the japanese name for mercury ice storm blast

  • Whats the difference between this and mercury icestorm blast?

  • Nothing, the names' just changed.

  • Nothing, they were dubbed by 2 diff companies.

  • Is this from the movie? If so tell me which one. please.

  • I think it was from Sailor Moon S.....I think. I don't remember. But it's the one where Luna turns into a human at the end.....for like a minute.

  • What are they fighting in that scene?

  • snow dancers

  • too much details are bad. i still prefer the original :)

  • KOOL!!! I like the noise made as she spins

  • not reely it just sounded weird, oh well ^.^

  • it sounded like she said ackwa not aqua

  • is there any difference?

  • Not really.

  • actually sorry if u felt offended i just like do not like finishing a convo with someone left out

  • Re: "actually sorry if u felt offended"

    Who me? Nah.

Re: "i just like do not like finishing a convo with someone left out"

A question was thrown out there and I answered it. Never had a problem with that before.

    Anyways...

  • oh thats cool

  • oh and what episode was this i mean with the voice not with the scene

  • this's a clip from the 2nd sailor moon movie

  • oh ok thanx for the info

  • I do miss that signature, ringing "water droplet" sound that kicks off this move (and Merc's other early moves) in the original Japanese -- it's not here.

  • i know. it makes it sound really cool

  • I know what you mean. All the Inners had that "signature sound". I like how they used them in the 'R' movie at the beginning when Usagi was introducing them.

  • I love that they kept the original phrase here, Ice Storm Blast just makes me angry. I tend to prefer dub attack names, but they're just so inconsistent with them! Besides, Shine Aqua Illusion sounds pretty. ^_^

  • that was in the second sailor moon movie against the ice queen

  • i liked this sailor mercury's voice better than the one they get after her

  • what episode did mercury start using this attack anyway?

  • epi 56 i think

  • no its the same one just different names

  • and this is mercury's 3rd attack not her second

  • this is much like her Mercury Icestorm Blast

  • love mercury!!!!!!!! :P
