Man you are a BOMB. I watched all your mixes and all i have to say is 1 thing: When you going to put a longer mix? These mixes are BOMBS but it will be amazing if you made a long mix, and put all your creative ideas in that mix!!
Great job and God bless. You are a bomb!
1 thing: i wanted to buy the dxm pro.. how is it treating you?
Really appreciate the love, I'll will upload a longer vid shortly for everyone's listening pleasure, it's going to consist of mostly electro. As for the dxmpro it is a great solid mixer but there a better mixers out there I'd get something that's recently new. Now I have a Pioneer DJM-700 and love it, it has all the features I need to make my mixes even more creative. Thanks again bro!
i am runnin xp, my laptop came with a free upgrade to vista but i did not upgrade cause serato has some performance issues with vista. to mention it's not recommended to use vista w/serato as I've heard serato is not officially compatible w/ vista.
Yes i just got a laptop to use with serato, the only problem is vista, all the new computers have vista, and in alot of them you cant install windows XP, hope a new version of serato work with vista soon
I feel you there, the problem with vista is that it's what to much load on your pc and takes up way too much memory making it difficult to run serato flawlessly. Since you have vista I would make sure you have alot of RAM and a big hard drive. Did you upgrade your serato to 1.8.3? I highly suggest upgrading serato cause they have really fixed serato's performance issues in 8.3
that's good enough then, how is serato running? building your overviews is a must, so make sure you build your overviews for all ur crates and calibrating correctly will help you get the best performance out of serato.
no c'mon lemme do the whole mix for my routine as if it was me! c'mon homie!? im trying to pay bills too! thats okay i can always loop that shit for 32 bars until i mix something else in....god bless youtube.
Dj forums, torrent sites, lol..limewire there's many places to find music you just have to search for it & know what you're looking for. Best place is torrent sites and limewire you can find tons of studio acapella's, instrumentals, radio edits, dirty, clean. Just get creative when searching. I always try to to my best to help others out that aren't aware of the possibilities. Good luck searching.
Plus, if you use Absolute mode constantly your coded records will wear out, since you will be droping the needle constantly in the same begining of the record every time... Relative mode will give more life to your coded vinyl since you can start the sond in any part of the record also. SONAR (2005 DMC DJ World Finalist)
u should learn that yourself, you won't perfect anything unless you practice and if you became a DJ yesterday then you might wanna consider being DJ BEDROOM for a long time, no disrespect but I think now and days anyone with a laptop thinks is a superstar... Although I do have to say that the dude on the video has years of experience and the short mix he did with Flo-Rida and Benni Benassi acapella was dope as hell
He's right the best way is to learn yourself. I just got a new mixer though the black Pioneer DJM-700 it has loads of effects so I'll upload a longer mix sometime soon so check back for updated vids. Diego appreciate the kind words glad u enjoy'd the mix I'll have more uploaded shortly.
yes serato can be used with any mixer or no mixer at all if you dj internally with the reg software. A bit pricey for the hardware/software but it is well worth every penny. It's the best dj investment I've made.
I've had serato less than a year and I love the software. I still have not mastered all the shortcuts and unlocked all the hidden features but when you know relative that's pretty much all you need to know.
If anyone wants the audio from my youtube videos just let me know. I already extracted the audio. So just hit me up! and thanx for checking out my videos! more vids comin up soon.
I know man, I use relative almost 90% of the time. Without relative mode you might as well say goodbye to being creative with your sets. I first started out using abs and when I did heavy scratches it would always skip on me using abs.
thanx matt, I've been dj'ing for about lil over 8 yrs. my parents never fed me and locked me in my room so I just practiced all the time LOL..im just kidding.

YUP! I know for a fact, I've had Abs mode skip on me when scratching and waveforms skip. Relative is absolutely skipless! LOVE IT!
