I purchased a Zk500 for my Zune 120 Gb two days ago and am regreting it since.

The system is not that great in terms of sound quality and the docking bay is defective.

Even more, I have been warned not to play it at a loud volume, for the risk of erasing all the content of my 45 gigs of music.

It has made me hate my Zune, (which I loved before) because of the lack of possibilities for sound systems in the market that would allow me to stay away from this piece of Kicker junk.

@phatboyspam it acts as a subwoofer..the 2 "subs" are really mind range speakers that move the air for the subwoofer

....in any event i purchased one for myself and have no complaints. Its loud enough for use outdoors, and IMO it has enough SQ for a bedroom HD add-on.

Zunes are way better and cooler than ipod i was thinking about getting a ipod at first but i changed my mind by getting the old 30gb black to me ipods are just to dull and boring

p.s. if you use an ipod shuffle as your main source of music, please do not breed. there are way better things for the same price and they have a flippin screen and more than 2gb.

lol i found a 1st gen shuffle on the ground like a month ago and it still works. but it has like crazy glue in the headphone jack... i use it as a usb flash drive. LOL
