@afritschka yes its in Inyo County which is in or around death valley :) also next to Mount Whitney which is the highest summit in the US, lovely place to camp because you have your lowest point death valley and the highest point all in one place :)

Wow! That is indeed the red on the mountains I was talking about. Whoever filmed this must've climbed up the hill in the early dawn.
