I have a poodle, and unless you are willing to invest the time to have your dog groomed, you are neglecting her. The dog needs to be brushed twice a day....why can't you brush your dog?

@FxUCKTHEWORLD My poodle looks the exact same....he is 6 years....all you have to do is comb them and make sure they dont get mats.

They look better like this. Mine used to have a continental at 2 years old, but i let it grow out and he hasnt had a haircut since he was 2.

Herp, yes she is puebred, just not groomed! shame on the owners for not even brushing her! We groomers have pet peeves and THIS VIDEO is one of them.TAKE THIS DOG TO A GROOMER NOW or you are risking her health and well being! She should be groomed evey 6-8 weeks professionaly and BRUSHED daily at home! think about this, beginnerdirector: How would you feel if you didn't bathe or brush your hair for months and months,and that is pretty much how your dog feels right now...dont post vids like this!

@1mil975 Be quiet, I had my poodle growing out until he was 2, then i got a continental cut.....he is now 6 and last haircut he got was the continental at 2 years old. My dog gets treated better thamn most peoples children.

I brush him and just make sure he doesnt get matted up, I always get people saying how good he looks. Only thing I shave are feet and face. You probably are not even a groomer, and if you are probably not a good one.

You need to take your dog to a professional groomer.

If you are going to keep the fur long you need to brush it OFTEN or it will get matts.

Poor thing can't even see. They can have a lot of problems with their eyes and need the hair kept out of them. Would hate to see what the inside of the ears look like as well. Probably completely full of hair. Poodles require a LOT of grooming care. Once a month by a pro, and a lot of work at home too (gentle brushing).

I actually prefer the shaggy look to the poodle cut, but you really should trim around the eyes, at least. Poor thing can hardly see! ALso might cause infections like some people mentioned.

Your dog is gorgeous, but I think it may need a little mental stimulation. Poodles are very smart dogs. Try some training using treats (not your belt!). You will bond with your dog and it will love you, not fear you. Please groom it also. Your dog will be healthier.
