  • ik.. this or waxing??? and does it give u ingrown hair? does it make hair appear finer?? aaaand can u use it all over your body?thanx

  • can you purchase an epilator in drugstore or online only?

  • I have the braun silk epil 7 and I love it!

  • I have the red one and I hate it. I only did one part of my leg and it looked like i had a rash for the next three days. It was so red and swollen and there were little bumps and it was very sore for days. Everywhere i tried it, it did the same thing. It also didnt grab very much hair. It took forever to do just that portion of my leg.

  • ...I'm using my first epilator, and thought I could watch it to help me, when you went and recommended NOT to buy the Braun Silk Epil...that's the one I bought just an hour or two ago. -_-

  • if I epilate my upper lip, do I have to wait until the hairs grow long enough to epilate them again? that would very noticeable during the waiting process >.<

    Thanks a bunch :) :) :)

  • i just got mine today from ebay. one qn, does the charger indicator will "ON" when i charge it? For some reason, the light is not "ON" when i charge it. :( i hope its not faulty coz the shipping took almost 3weeks to reach my place. im living in East Malaysia.

  • @redhotsunfire there is this one epilator called the Emjoi eMagine and it can remove hairs that are .5 mm so I'm assuming that's how long your hair needs to be....

  • If you don't like plugging things into the wall?...

  • Any tips on epilating your bikini area?

  • Can you use the epilator every day or does the hair have to be a certain length before it will pull it out?

  • So, I'm REALLY disappointed by this product. I got the pink and purple one for Christmas. I asked for that one based on your review. It DOES NOT work. I must have spent an hour trying to epilate my legs. It got about half of the hair and I had to end up shaving the rest. It HURTS very bad! I'm super disappointed. Bummer.... I'm going to think twice about your reviews....

  • I have a few questions anyone that uses this epliator:

1.Does it cause ingrown hairs? If so, a lot or just a few?

    2. How long does it take for the hair to grow back?

    3. Does the hair grow back thinner?

  • @m00035 idk the answers to the 2nd two question but i know that if you exfoliate right after using it it should lessen if not prevent ingrown hairs

  • People tweeze their armpits????

  • how often do you have to epilate?

i used an electric razer once but i didnt like it because it didnt make me as soft as shaving, does an epilator make your skin soft?

  • where can i get the cheapesst one??

    im broke :/

  • my hairline is really ugly and i have like a thin almost tuft like of hair on the top corner of my forehead, and i recently bought an epilator and was wondering if it would be okay if i used it and plucked my hairline. i dont want it to grow back wierd and thick!

  • You are incredibly pretty, thanks a lot for your video playback. it is actually sad i'm located in Gleason for the reason that i can't receive high-quality cosmetics, then again i find totally free cosmetic samples through "GratismakeupSamples". i absolutely adore Sally Hansen cosmetics!

  • laser hair removal doesnt work!

  • Hey, i really want the purple emjoi epilator as i have heard alot of good reviews about it but don't seem to find any in UK are there any online sites where i can purchase it from which would ship it to UK? i couldnt find any on ebay :/

Thanks for the review was helpful :)

  • can you get them at like walmart or something?

  • how long does the leg hair have to be ?

because i have an epilator too and i have to go over my leg numbers of times in order to get every single hair -_- it's pretty annoying

  • I tried everything including lazer hair removal and it does grow back. Mine grew back a little less, it didn't hurt and it didn't take long.. If all of a sudden I have some extra money to spend I might consider it.. well actually not anymore now that I have my Emjoi, but maybe for bikini area.

  • Comment removed

  • I have the Emjoi and I LOVE IT!! But I am very blonde and fair. It hurt at first but by the time you've done everything you can't wait for hair to grow back to do it again. It's addictive like getting a tattoo. But the best part, hair doesn't grow back and you can use it when hair is short! I love love love my epilator, never waxing again... thanks for the review

  • has anyone used this on their bikini area???? if so does it work well?

  • @roxyfive5 very painful but similar to waxing, just slower. I recommend using epilators just for legs, underarms, face.. everything but bikini

  • @LaurenJustinKisa lol thanks!

  • yes it does work on facial hair but you cheeks will be more sensitive so you might get some spots or red bumps that might stay for a few days but will eventually go. I bought the Braun epilator and it works amazing, i was scared of the sound but i handles it fine after i tries it.! :)

  • awesome, I almost bought the braun one. I think Im going to order the pink one.

  • DO THESE PRODUCTS WORK ON WOMEN'S FACIAL HAIR????? THATS WHY I WANT TO BUY AN EPILATOR FOR THAT SPECIFIC REASON. WHAT DO U RECOMEND?

  • @castillo916 YES! It is great for facial hair. Using nair or creams works too but this lasts alot longer

  • ya blondes mostly have it easy

  • which is the LEAST painful out of all of them ??

  • how much are both of those?? and where did you get them?

  • @chubbyuser17 I got my emjoi epilator on ebay for $70 canadian dollars shipping included. A steal! but it's worth every penny

  • You actually happen to be exceedingly beautiful, many thanks for your video clip. it happens to be miserable im living within Walkerville considering that i aren't able to obtain high quality make-up, then again i get hold of free of cost cosmetic samples from "GratisMakeupSamples". i absolutely adore Rimmel cosmetics!

  • What is the name of the bigger one?

  • i also have the braun silk epil epilator! It is very painful! i loathe it

  • you asian chicks have like no hair..

  • @NyDrPa not true...but its worse for us because we have dark hair. so any hair that does grow is very noticable. blondes have it easy...

  • @Badminton1410 LIES blondes dont have it easy!!!! hair is hair, its a bitch!

  • @Badminton1410

Just because someone has blond hair on their head doesn't mean the hair on their body is the same. I am blond and the hair on my body is dark and quite noticeable, I'm also pale which makes it more of a pain to deal with.

  • Make sure you're paying attention lol. Thanks so much for answering these questions. I'm really considering getting one now. I just want to get it over with and get used to it haha. Your advice is comforting!

  • I can't believe i'm only finding about this now. *sigh* i'm going to invest in one very very soon. (when i get my next paycheck haha) Fafinettex3 has a $10 off coupon on beautychoice :)

  • Now..

How do I convince my mom to buy me that

  • th music is kinda distracting, but other than that good vid.

  • does only one of your eyes have eyeliner? XD

  • just letting everyone know.... its much much cheaper at amazon :)

  • I'm a guy and I used to tweeze my facial hair. I found out about epilators while searching for a quicker alternative to tweezing. I ended up getting an Emjoi Total Concept 2 in 1 Epilator & Tweezer or EMJ AP-17LT. I figured if the epilator didn't work for me, I'd still have the tweezers. haha It's a lot faster than tweezing. I like that it pulls out the hair instead of just cutting it, so when the hairs grow back it isn't as prickly and stubbly. Let me know if you have questions.

  • which one do you prefer more? the soft caress or emagine?

  • @xcooooookies emagine would be better for larger areas, soft caress would be better for smaller areas such as face or underarms.

  • does the purple one work good for your legs?

  • @CJramos69 it would work fine, though if you're going to be mainly using it for legs and/or arms the red one would be better because it would get it done quicker and theoretically it would be less painful because it helps pull your skin taught with the two opposite rotating tweezers.

  • @CJramos69 yes! i love it for legs! love love love it. Hurts by the ankles but you get used to it

  • Is this actually better than shaving?

because with shaving, it grows back worse and really quickly and with epilators, it takes like a week for it to grow and its not worse.

I just wanted to know because the epilator is leaving permanent red dots on my skin. and now my hair is starting to grow under my skin!

  • @yasa8864 it should not leave permanent redness, and you have to exfoliate alot so it wont grow under your skin

  • @JanelleKK thank you so much for taking time to reply!

  • @yasa8864 yes exfoliate and I use vit E cream afterwards and this helps

  • do you happen to know if Braun Silk-épil Xpressive 7781 Wet & Dry Rechargeable Body & Face Epilator is good or not? or is it just as bad as the one you have?

  • Comment removed

  • @hirarohail I tried it with mine, but I think the hairs are too thin, cause it comes back

after like one day so it kinda cuts it, but maybe if you have a really good one, and you have also epilators for facial and body hair;)

  • I use the silk epil :l

  • I have an Emjoi w/ 21 tweezers, the pink one. It works really well, and it's rechargable, you can get it at CVS for $40. :D

  • I have the Braun Silk Epil Expressive. Cant say enough good things about it. Best investment by far, no question.

  • does the hair grow back darker?

  • @patricialynngregory no thats just myth, and a pretty silly one probably used to discourage girls from shaving their legs at an early age or something

  • what the name of the brown one? Can we use it to remove light facial hair? What about the redness?

  • can you use this on your bikini area?

  • I just ordered the purple one (:

    I'm hoping it'll work for me :D

    Cross your fingers! haha

  • I brought one this summer and I'm using it .Actually I epilate always my arm hair 2 times a week, even though after epilating some spots of hair under the skin stiiiiiiil there I don't feel them as soft as I want them to be I hate myself

  • what are the brands? i can see the first one is an emjoi, what's the second one?

  • How long does it takes to do your whole legs with the pink one???

  • @loolaverhoeven1 same amount of time as shaving or waxing. It's really fast!

  • Seems like forever i've had hair trouble. I got the NoNo hair removal system from 'gratismakeupsamples' - free trial, i just paid a few dollars shipping. Im really happy with it.

  • i like those braun epilators but hell it sounds like a mower i got scared :|

  • @freshgirlfoxxy use it to mow your lawn

  • @siliconsurf lol i already got something to mow my lawn with...a lawn mower! :)

  • @freshgirlfoxxy does it have teeth and a tongue? haha...

  • @siliconsurf i dont honestly know im gonna have to check

  • omg. :D i bought one this summer and damn..

the second time hurts much more then the first xDD cuz i knew how it sounds like and how it hurts :D

  • I watched this video a while back, bought me the pink emjor Caress epilator and loved it so much I haven't touched a razor since! Thank you pursebuzz!!!

  • Can these be used on the bikini area?

  • @Clover1975 its going to hurt bad!! but yes.

  • can you address ingrown hairs

  • @iimimat for ingrown hairs just use a needle to get em out from under your skin and then pluck em with a tweezer haha XD

  • hello,

i want to ask u something..

i heard that some of the people told me that..

if u use epilator to remove our underarm hair..

the hair won't be removed totally..

i mean..u still need to pluck using tweezers the hair that can't be pulled by epilator..is that true??

  • Pursebuzz rules!!! I can apply all sorts of tips.

  • Ok so about 4 months ago I saw your vid and went out got the blue Braun one. .. LUV IT !!!!! It does sound a little scary at first, but then was ok...I do give it a little rest after doing one leg so it doesnt overheat, and other than that its FUN and WORKS and was a great buy esp. for the summer! Thanks again for the review :)

  • these are good for men too

  • youre so sweet thanks so much

on areas you havent shaved or removed hair before... for example your upperarm... when you epilate it, will the hair grow back the same, or will it .. lessen ?

  • I have been using an epilator for 2 years. My hair is black and now i can barely see it. so yes,it will lessen your hair and make it thinner.

  • wut kind do u use?

  • I tried to post this before but

it kept saying it was too long

    I have a Model AP-98R OpliMax emjor

The more you use it the less grows back,

it takes less time & doesnt hurt/hurts a slight bit. I just did my armpits.

Last time before that was 6 weeks ago.

  • nice nails! haha

  • ahahahahhahaha!!!! You tagged yourself as asian Tila Tequila!! ahaha you wish! You freaking dork =p

  • Epilating is painful - kinda like slow waxing...and the ingrown hairs are a nightmare - but you can just mix and match - I only epilate my legs, - it's not worth the pain to my armpits - there I just shave which works because the hair grows slower anyway - and in the long run epilating my legs saves me loads of money on the wax I'd be using instead

  • i got the pink light caress from emjoi. I love It dont gotta worry about my underarms for a month! amazes me!!

  • i <3 my epilatior! i have the purple and pink one!

  • what's the red one called and where can i buy one?how much is it? thx

  • its in the box >>>>>

  • I tried this and it hurts too much even after using three times. It does remove hair for 10 days; but it costs waaaaaaaay too much! I use Sally Hansen Hair Remover lotion. I do it in the shower and this lasts longer than the Epilator. I has a moisturizer in it; the machine does not... Epilator is not needed. No one should feel pain to get rid of hair. It's creepy. fettucini50

  • Y dont you use it on the video

  • I had one and I NEVER got used to the pain, and I consider myself to have a pretty high tolerance for pain. I ended up just tossing it. It wasn't worth it to me.

  • epilators reminds me so much of tasers.

  • After hearing what people say about BeautyChoice I'm uneasy about purchasing from them. Is there any drugstore in Canada (GTA) or another reliable online source I can buy the red one from?

  • you are soooo lovely :)

  • guitarLuverChic ,

I hear you. I ordered mine June 24, and still backordered. They are so bad at refunding money too! And if you call, they make it seem like they know what you're talking about, but really they don't!!!

  • omg not to be rude or anything but pleae DO NOT buy this from Beautychoice. I am really DYING to try this out but It is giving me SUCH a headache right now. google the complaints about BC's customer service, it will make you go insane. I ordered this June 21st and I haven't received ANY update about shipping from them and until now it is still "backordered" I emailed them 2 times and no replies. The WORST part is, they charged me already!. I hope pursebuzz stopes promoting BC. It is unfair to us

  • Where can I get these? How much do they cost? What do you suggest for naval hair? I had gotten tatoos on my stomich and they have to shave any area befor they give you a tatoo and now I have hair that is under my naval and if I shave it you can still see the dark hair stubble under the skin and I have tried creams but they burn my skin. I love all of your videos. You are very kind, pretty and helpfull. Thank you so much for all the great videos.

  • thanks for uploading!

  • do they prevent ingrow hair and those little black or brown spots leave behind after shaving

  • Yeah the spots that are left behind after shaving is the hair that remained inside the skin. so plucking it out with wax or the epilator pulls the whole hair out. So there is not spots.

  • very helpful

    thanks a lot

  • nice recomendations ... love the nails colors very unique and fun

  • I just ordered the purple one! Sooooo excited for it to come in the mail! :) This video helped me a lot. Thanks so much! love all your videos! :)

  • Is it your first time doing it? Please let me know how it goes because I'm considering the purple one as well. Thanks :)

  • love ur nails in this vid so cute

  • Does anybody know what the optimum length of the hair is for epilating? I've read that if it's too long it hurts a lot more, so I'm hoping someone could tell me what the best length for the hair is. Thanks :)

  • i have the new Braun silk-epil xpressive which you can use in and out of water. its pricey at around £100 although boots had an offer for £69.99 which might still be on. it has massaging rollers on the side and a light to see tiny hairs. i found it really effective, it hurts most the first time but afterwards its ok, tried to do underarm and it hurt so much i couldnt finish!also thighs seem to be very painful too.

  • mmmmm Interesting!!! Fancy nails LOL Love them.

  • I'm interested in buying one of those so which one is better if you have can only choose one?

  • hi

i am a guy and i am waxing for about 10 years , but last month my girl friend gifted me silk epil , i used it but i think so its much painful , with wax there is one time pain and all the hair gone , and with epil hairs are removed one by one ,

secondly i feel my skin silky with wax

so wax is better then epil

  • I actually prefer waxing to epilating as waxing really takes all the really short hairs. Also with waxing the hair doesn't grow back as fast. But they are both as painful as each other :)

  • would you recomend ''epilating'' over shaving your legs, or should you just stick to smaller areas with the epilator. are there any cheaper epilators that still work as good or almost as good as the e-magine epilator???if so what is and were can i get one!!!!?????

  • iiUse Silk-Epil and it hurts but if yu pull yur skin iiTs not as painful - iiT leaves yur skin red for a bit but then just take a shower and iiT heals. iiPersonally like how it works

  • i really dont need epilators wet beaceuse i dont have hair under my arms and the hair on my kegs are very short and blond ( im not blond)

but i rally need to do it "in between"

  • omg i have the silk epil i never knew that you could get an epilator that hurts less. i just ordered the purple one. cant wait till it comes in! thanks loads pursebuzz! you are really preetty! x

  • @ilovethatboysomuchx I have the silk epil too! Since you bought the purple one, does it hurt as much as the braun silk epil? Or does it hurt much less? I was thinking about buying the purple one too but i dont know if it's worth it. Appreciate your thoughts. Thank u

  • i got the emagine & it's great. the trick is taking a shower first to soften the hair & your pores. solarcaine helps a little if you're really sensitive. waxing my underarms was impossibly painful, same for my legs (when i was doing it myself). although this hurts too, there's a pain threshold & once you get over the 30 secs. you'll seriously be able to do the whole area no problem - legs, underarms, bikini. also, if you maintain it every couple days it's only the first time that hurts the most.

  • hi! can you please make a review about the smooth away hair removal product.. they say it's doesn't hurt at all and doesn't need plucking.

  • god ive tried that. personally i think its a waste...it takes FOREVER to use on your legs! underarms: the skin has to be taught so that was hard and upper lip: it turned red. it is pain free but you have to circle in each direction like 10 times and only in little sections. also the sandy paper stuff dulls soooo quickly. hate it.

  • you can use this in the hairs over the lips?

  • I love the Epilator, it didn't hurt under the arms, the legs hurt the first time. I used it on my upper lip it hurt as much as tweezing my brows, the bikini line killed but i managed to remove all the hair on the front down there it was worth the pain. I will never go back to shaving, thank you for doing this video without it I would never have tried the Epilator.

  • bikini line? OMG, I really admire you.

  • you can use it on the upper lip and face but you have to use just one side. i used it on my upper lip and cheek bones.

  • Epilation is the best. Cant wait to try the Emagine, getting it done faster is way better.

  • I just bought the purple one last week. I actually got it for $45 USD with shipping included on ebay. I have to say you are right. There is a little bit of pain in the beginning but it goes away quickly. I've tried waxing before but that hurts a lot. I don't understand the people saying the epilator hurts more than waxing since waxing also pulls your skin. The epilator doesn't at all. I did get a little red but it went away quickly. I'm never going back to shaving. Thanks for the recommendation.

  • where can i get it??? i really like the caress one ;)

  • Hey guys, BEST BUY has a sale on the EMAGINE epilator for $101. It's on SALE at the moment. Can't wait to get mines. BRING THE PAIN BABY!

  • Were you testing out different color nail polishes? lol cuz your nails look pretty much like mine right now.

  • it doesn't hurt me.the red works really good and NO red.

I love Emjoi epilator is the Best

  • if you shave would your underarm would turn dark??

and if you put deodorant wouldit be dark.??

    please answer my questions...

  • I think I have an allergic reaction to razor, i always get rashes, would using one of these make it not go like this, or worse? it hurts to shave because it bleeds alot.. any advise?

  • I bought the Emjoi Emagine epilator, and it left my skin red. VERY red. I noticed a little blood too. It didn't hurt, but then again...I take pain VERY well. Why is it red? am I doing something wrong? the skin is pulled pretty taut...

  • Do you use it when your skin is dry?

  • Yes, my skin was dry. I even put baby powder. pain isn't an issue...I just want to know why it's red....any other tips?

  • Love ur nails! :]

  • Hi,

I have been watching ur hair tutorial and I simply admire u. I also did curls on my sons 1st bthday inspired from ur hair video.. I have request for u that can u please make a video for makeup 7 hair tips or tutorial for long air journey as how to keep face looking fresh. Please pls make video of makeup and video which looks great and most important is comfortable while travelling with my small baby.

  • those shits hurts!!!

  • pb, have you tried the light caress emjoi .. same as the pink/purple one but in the red?

  • Your nails are beautiful, please do a review and show how the products you use.

  • the music is too loud i don't think u should do that again.

  • the braun one i got was like $80 and leaves red bumps everywhrer. i stick to having, unless you use it on your arms

  • I have one that is a Panasonic and it works wet and dry but I only use it dry on my lower legs and armpits....the color is pink.

  • the music is too distracting from your reviews :(

  • your nails are amazing i like it how u made them like a rainbow type of thing

  • These epilators make the world a better place and the inventors should get the Nobel Prize. There is no pain, and the discomfort is grossly exaggerated by some.. Razor shave first, then use the epilator every 2 days or so for about a month to get the desired result anywhere on your body, except the face, of course. (don't make the first use just before a big date). Loofa. A little alcohol the first few times. The cheaper Emjois works great too. Great video!

  • I LOVE YOU

    xoxo Nayta

  • Haha! I use the braun, I started with it and I have a pretty high pain tolerance so I love it. Epillaters are great for those who wear shorts and tank tops often because you don't have to do it very often.

  • i love your nails!!!

    what are you wearing??

  • i still have a question!

what about women with dark skin and hair? will it work just as well as with women with fair skin and hair?

  • what's her real name??

    i've always wondered that.

  • I'm not sure how she spells it but she said it's Alisa, like Ah-lee-sa.

    It's my name too :)

  • in which stores can you buy epilators?

can i buy them in drug stores or wal-mart or ulta or sally's or any place like that?

  • ibought the pink and purple flowery emjoi and i absolutely love it. i use it every day and its 100% better upgrade from waxing and shaving. waxing hurts like hell and the first time you go over hair with an epilator, yeah its gonna hurt but the second time i used it it didnt hurt cause there wasnt as much hair. i suggest you buy it

  • go to a salon and get electrolysis and you will be set, it is permanent and painless.

  • u done it??

    i wanna try it!

  • done it. it is pretty much painless. you really should try it and it lasts longer than laser removal.

  • Well, laser may takes up to 2 years, but it's definitive after that... so you can't compare it...

  • i'm not really comparing the two methods but i am in favor of electrolysis because it kills each follicle on dark and light skin ... it is a more guaranteed way to remove hair permanently.
