Putting my absolute disdain for Madonna aside.

The woman is NOT a rock and roll artist. When you give an institution a name as specific as "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame", inducting a non-rock act is as ludicrus as inducting a football player into the baseball hall of fame. I think its equally as stupid when they induct hip hop, country, r and b...just because they're musicians (and i use the term loosely for madonna), doesn't mean they're rock and roll.
