What happened is that the singer's microphone came unplugged. You can see them singing, but you can't hear them. All you hear is the backing track. There is no attempt to lipsync. What Poncy Turner is singing is very similar to the backing track. It does appear that he is lip synching, but he's not. Later in the video, one of the microphones begins to function as Co-Pilot Rasta Rock is able to start giving shout outs, and dropping little pearls of wisdom for us to absorb.
Man these guys are hilarious. Does anyone have the band HouseCat that used to be on this show too? LOL.
