speak in your own tounge so that we can understand... you are impressing people by western style... we need indian simple style of speaking because which give real tast to food got it...
Your video and recipe was just right, no need to apologize.. a lot of viewers have busy families with less than perfect kitchens.. Recipe looks great, I can't wait to try it! Thanks for taking the time to share.
Sorry about that. Hopefully, it was not too much of a distraction. We've moved since, but still operate in a small space. Hope you enjoyed the curry-:)
I liked this curry. I never made this alone, I used to mix it with chana daal. But I tried this and it worked great for me. Thanks a lot and keep up with the good work.
Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)
You are most welcome. Glad you enjoyed. I am definitely new to home videos (the lighting is poor and my hair & makeup were terrible on this day!), and my camera man happens to be a novice and my teen son:-) We hope to post some better videos soon. Thank you for viewing my video recipe!
pretty nice. just two questions: can i still make this without a pressure cooker? and what is that tomato sauce (ie - is that ketchup, or tomato pasta sauce, or something else?).
Thank you. Yes, you can still make the recipe without a pressure cooker. The cooking time is longer and you will need at least 1-2 cups of water depending on the size of your Opo squash and the consistency you prefer...more soupy or gravy-like. The tomato sauce is all I had that day...it's actually spaghetti sauce:-) Traditionally, you would use tomato paste.
Thank you for commenting about this. Without a pressure cooker, approximately how much longer is the cooking time & what type of pan/pot do you recommend? Again, thank you.
The cooking time would be double...I'd say 20-25 minutes. You can use any type of cookware including a stainless steel pot or non-stick and/or hard anodized pot.
