bro sorry for bother again... I play in drop C and the Key is D minor... if you play E minor in drop C will sound the same as D minor in drop D, can i do that? sorry for comment about the same thing one more time but I want to be sure u know cause I want to join in the contest

no it's not the same key, you can play in the tuning you want as long as you respect the key:)

@SilentDestruction900 Well theoretically you could compose it in Drop A# or something. As long as it's in the right key it should sound right.

@flobbie12345 Well the tuning is in Drop D. I don't really wanna mess with the Floyd Rose on my Dean since it's the only guitar i got at my house now. I was hoping to just do the solo in the tuning i have my guitar in. I'm not the biggest fan of Tuning my guitar that low either haha.

@SilentDestruction900 No what I mean is the tuning doesn't matter, what matters is the key. Like I am going to do mine in E standard even though the backing uses drop D, but I will be playing in the same key. So yeah you could do the solo in D standard in the key of D Minor or whatever it is :)
