I.. feel kinda bad for Berial. He's like the first boss they put in your patch in this game (and so soon too!). I'd prefer demon bosses to be introduced in this order: the annoying toad, dragon lady and THEN Berial. He's the one who actualy recognized Dante, he made a comment of how ridiculous Savior is.. and who Dante gave a choice to retreat ("It's your call, pal"). At least it went opposite direction when you've been playing as Dante.. and Berial left as last one. Reminded me of Beowulf.

Dante starts with his Rebellion sword (From DMC3/SE) Ebony and Ivory and a double barrel shotgun as in previous DMC installments.He collects weapons after defeating/killing the same major bosses Nero did first time around.

Dante also carries the same basic styles as in DMC 3/SE....Sword Master/Royal Gaurd/GunSlinger/Trickster. Dante is also able to use his devil trigger from the moment you are able to play as him.And the last and final style Dante gets is Dark Slayer from The Yamato Sword.

Nero cannot get any more weapons than what he starts with except Yamato ( Sword that separates the human world from the demon world A.K.A sword of Sparda and Vergil ) Nero only has the weapons: Red Queen (Sword on his back) Blue Rose (His double barrel pistol) Devil Bringer which is completely new to the DMC world,last but greatest sword in the entire series Yamato (it enables Nero to use a devil trigger with Vergils devil trigger behind him but Nero has no relation to Dante/Vergil/Sparda.
