Is there no safety gear in the States? :) From a pro's point of view this is a great demo video of how not to dress up. But a beefy saw, looks like it have quite a lot of power.
If I were you I would have restored the saw to the 088 specifications because turning it into a " hot rod " machine creats uncertainty and that scares away buyers. Try the Crags List to sell it too , but only accept cash from a buyer there.. I have a almost unused 090 that I want to sell. Thanks for putting this up.
Hey Rumcice who let you in the forest, with this "almostchainsaw" Stihl 880?? I see at the end you drop the chainsaw and took a very professional Maki/Dolmar 7900. :D
Bye.
Excellent job Jasha, you modified it just right and your saw handling is phanominal. I know I'm posting this a little late but hey, you done good man. Must of felt like cut with a crosscut saw when you ran the 7900 right after the 880. lol
Fascinating footage! Thanks for sharing! I knew a tree surgeon once who opened a BRANCH office. He would go out on a LIMB for all his patients. Sadly, he eventually had to give up his practice....turns out he couldn't stand the sight of SAP !!!
well, i wonder what really is the point of modifying a got damn 880 stihl!! even for a powerhappy dude like myself thats just so silly i cant describe...
this saw has 122 cc or so, and already 8.7 hp, so if thats not enough, someone should visit the "doctor" hehe
that's just simply a thing of beauty.... go marines. hu ahh...... I don't have words.. .. no replacement for displacement.......... ExcellenT

You must have one massive stack of firewood with all those rounds I've seen you cut'n up in your vids. Nice. Your first video: "
first tree falling video" is by far one of my favorite vids on all of youtube.
