80s was amazing years in Brazil and PSB was part of this...Lorena, Rio de Janeiro...our dreams...to be a flight attendant (Varig) to fly all over Brazil, South America and World...my wife, family, friends...80s was a awesomew years.
WOW! I could cry when i think back to the 80's and how much fun I had being a Pan Am flight attendant based in London flying and partying all over the world to PSB. I use to play this exact track on my "Sony Walkman" while sitting in my jumpseat on the 747 looking out the window rolling for take-off. Speeding down the runway with this track in my ear and then lift off was a m a z i n g! NOTHING like the 80's!
@worldwings ahh the age of fossil fueled exhuberance. half a billion years of fossilized sunlight squandered in just 200 years. we are now entering a darker age.
brahs - i am dead straight 80's child . This song rocked no matter what you prefer. So if you think u need to be a f.. to enjoy it - think again. PSB's made good music. The rest is up to your fickle thoughts children.
im straight, but loved the pet shop boys. is that ok? a completely polished track from begining to end. reminds me of my teenage years. happy times indeed.
@POTT1973 No, thats not okay. you have to be homosexual to listen to Pet Shop Boys. In fact, you have to research every band and musician's sexuality, in order to have the right to listen to the music. (PS: Sarcastic)
@75Krusty sorry in future i will research more i promise. perhaps i need to research my own sexuality. i also like erasure and the scissor sisters. do i need to give back my cd's due to owning under false pretenses? (PS alao sarcastic)
God i LOVE these guys. Best pop group, still going very strong today. And total gay icons, at least in my opinion. Knowone else, compares to the PSB's....!!!
This song is probably one of the greatest 12 inches ever released if not the best remix ever.I remember buying this 12" single back in the 80's.Such an amazing version of a great song.Wish there were still bands releasing stuff like this
This song is illegally awesome. I used to sit in my car at night during the summer with the sunroof open watching the lightening bugs. I couldn't have had a better soundtrack..
Lets all bombard robbie williams on twitter and see if we can get him to cover this with the PSB,s,then maybe we could get it to NO 1,as the PSB,s on there own only seem to get radio 2 coverage. This belong/belonged at NO1 !!!
@philip1mus This song is probably one of the greatest 12 inches ever released if not the best remix ever.I remember buying this 12" single back in the 80's.Such an amazing version of a great song.Wish there were still bands releasing stuff like this
1986? wow a sound of hope, I'd say, since then, thousands of men have had my body, love came to many of them, never to me. Now I'm old and, amazingly, there's still people who wants to pick me up but I'm totally drained. Should I wait around the corner instead in Ibiza discos?
If my memory serves me well it was the PSBs second UK hit single from their first Album Please- the original chart single reached No 19 in 1986- can someone confirm this Please. Pardon the pun!!
I've still got this version in my collection of 12' singles, stuck in the loft now unfortunately. Used to play this in my DJ set back in the day. JUST F'ING AWESOME !
this is one my fav psb trax from back inthe day...i believe its off disco no? anyway im going to see them in london 02 arena in june...cant wait! never seen them before...should be good, only doin 2 shows in uk, this one and manchester...full respect 4 the post!!!
This mix (dance mix) is by stephen hague, the one of 'DISCO' is by shep pettibone.let's hope they do it in june as it is one of the best PSB SONGS EVER.PSB FOREVER!
Absolutely bloody amazing.i have this as my ringtone!,superb mix.cant wait till manchester in june, then many more once the tour is announced.PSB FOREVER.
My favorite song from PSB's first album, in a glorious extended version. One of PSB best ever 12" (and that says a lot). You can get this remastered on the Bonus CD from the Please reissue from 2001. Put in on with headphones and you will know bliss.
