Five years since leaving the cult, and I still haven't been able to put together a modicum of daily practice. I know the NKT does not have ownership over the Dharma, but I find it a lot harder to practice without the support. I find it a lot harder to practice without the benefit of receiving teachings. There is nothing in my area for meditation centers OTHER THAN THE FREAKIN' NKT! They're everywhere, in disguise. All the websites of their local centers are like "meditationin______ dot orrg."

It should be made clear that Shugen worship itself violates religious freedom, because Shugden does not allow followers to practice other schools than the "pure Gelug school". Those who practice other schools "mix the pure doctrine" and will be killed for that "crime" by the deity Dorje Shugden, or they will at least be punished by a terrible sickness and finally die a horrible death.

yes indeed this Gaden Tripa made public adresses not to follow DS. I heard that this Gaden Tripa didnt have a good life towards the end due to pollitical issues within his Ladrang.

Our Buddhist society, Charitable Assistance Society of Thousand Arm Chenrezig ( Singapore ), will like to repudiate the baseless allegations from questionable groups in relation to the 100th Ganden Trisur's standing and integrity.
Trisur Rinpoche has the staunch support of the mainstream Gelugpa establishments and even the other Tibetan Buddhist schools and is widely-respected for His learning, practice and impeccable qualities.

it is this Gaden Trisur which openly opposed the practice of Dorje Shugden within the Gelugpa school and wasnt at all favoured during the term of his office.

Dorje shugden is a ghost or not is NOT THE POINT.
The point is that Dalai Lama MAY NOT BAN ANY FORM OF WORSHIP IN A FREE AND DEMOCRATIC INDIA.
Because of this ban, Dalai Lama is going to court. He has been summoned by the High Court in Delhi to plead his case.
By the Dalai lama going to court is a huge message that WHAT HE IS DOING IS WRONG.
United Nations have sent representatives to investigate the ban from Dalai lama as it is not what a democratic leader should do.
