The gentleman hb15577 is correct. When Chiodos hit, they took hardcore and molded a large portion of what is still used today. Craig Owens' unique style and huge range set a bar for hardcore/post-hardcore that can't be shifted. The loss of the original Chiodos was damaging to the music world, and should not have happened in my eyes. There was nothing generic about Chiodos with Owens. And to make such a blatantly, acceptedly ignorant comment is bad form, sir.
