@CopeyCapri most people dont play the game enough to make over 2 million dollars. modding gives them the chance to get the cars they would never have any other way. The game is about racing not collecting money to buy really expensive cars. The worst thing, in my opinion, is having to pay in game credits for DLC cars that you bought with real money. But i can see why modding makes other people angry.

It's not the mod that would get you banned, it's being an idiot & not using common sense. Anyone that works for Turn 10 can pop up on here, play along with the scheme, & nab you once you send them the credits &/or cars. It doesn't take a network administrator to put 2+2 together. If they really wanted to, it would be pretty simple to accomplish. They just haven't bothered to. A tip to you less knowledgeable, don't put up your GT. You make Turn 10's work even easier to get you banned.
