I am all for EEO and all that,... but there is something fundamentally wrong with subjecting these male humans to this cross-gender degradation. They should not be experiencing this as part of their sentence -- it serves as enhanced punishment. These female COs monitor them in showers, on toilets and can even be present during strip searches. It is just fundamentally wrong and it should not be happening. Then, there is the other issue -- starving men are presented steaks they can never have.

Well, Im a male and if I was going to go to prison and I had the choice of being sent to a facility that was staffed exclusively by females or one where the staff was all male I would opt for the institution run by females.

thanks for posting...very few female co's get the respect they deserve for this line of work...and even though i work in a minimum security facility, you never know what could jump off at any given time.
