@kalimul I really can't understand why bhopping would be an "unfair" advantage. Just like you practiced to gain the recoil control you described, bhoppers practiced to bhop! They aren't using third party programs of any sort, auto scripts or anything CS doesn't offer in the original game. So, essentially, they're making use of what the game engine has to offer, just like you make use of the recoil mechanics.

Look, i'm man enough to say that i admire and appreciate people that can bhop since i can't, but you must understand it's very disruptive during gameplay and it's an unfair advantage over the enemy. Me as a normal player i can reach a level of gun/recoil control higher than you, but if you bhop in front of me you'll have the edge. I know Cs is not meant to be realistic but bhoping is too far away from reality, it's just an exploit of the game's physics /rant.

I remember when i first started bhopping.. I went on some easy bhop maps (bhop servers) but i failed so i raged :D. But i kept hoppin' and after a week , i could complete easy maps. (bh_Aztec , bhop_eazy).. Now.. Years later.. I can hop to 800 velocity with ease.

@MisterSrosis It's not possible to bhop on most servers after update. That's because there is sv_enablebunnyhopping which is ussualy set to 0. Normal servers also have low airaccelerate and tickrate.

type "bind mwheeldown +jump" in the console ... then if u scroll down ur mouse wheel it will be like spamming space many times and you wont have a hard time by using the space button to bhop. ive been bhopping for a long time and i still cant bhop perfectly using space. :3

Okay... can someone give me a complete step-by-step on how to bhop? From what I've gathered, this is what you do:

Press "w" to gather some momentum. Them jump and press "a" in air and look to the left. When you land, jump again and press "d" in the air and look to the right. Repeat. What am I doing wrong?

i have a tip for beginning hoppers:

DONT GET STUCK ON ONE STYLE OF BHOPPING!

it is important to know both styles, but mainly because you need to try both to see which you're good at! I failed miserably at gaining speed on weaving, but when trying circle jumping i was amazing at it! went up to 512 velocity! so just keep trying, keep practicing, and you will get better! i recommend practicing at dm servers so you dont get bored! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!
