thats funny because in dead space downfall an entire crew couldn't take out 4-7 necros but this one man killed an entire army. my friends say he had all this gear yes he does. but he got his weapons off of the ship so if this wasn't a mind altering mental disorder he would of ripped her in half and throw her off the ship and in dead space 2 demo you could see him vs. some huge thing and gets shot at and he destroys both of them so hes just cant be killed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was recently revealed that Isaac is going to be in a sequel. It takes place on a space community outside of Jupiter called "The Sprawl" supposedly he was sent there to help out because he was the only survivor from the Ishimura . He finally talks! I also found out a movie is in the works.

But for god knows what reason. Maby the gov. made the Necromorph's as a weapon and hid their creaction, and remember the Ishimora was in a illegal dig zone.

@darkiddd hum that's part of the mystery its possible that the marker is some how alive and it has the ability to controle minds which explains how it can keep the hive mind at bay, so the marker would need high power to control the hive mind so its effect of human behavior would be catostophic. (it's intent to keep the Necromorphs at bay possibly, which is why Issic's insanity keept telling him that they needed to become one/unite the marker & planet) hopefully we will have an answer in # 2

if u pause at the right time u see her rig is full green and she has no necro claws, so she could have survived her overdose and found isaac while she was driven mad by the marker and covered in blood and cuts, but isaac saw her the way he wanted to, she may have been sane enough to help him with the ship, but she dissapears on the final level and she may have gone back on the ship to hide, after the marker is destroyed she may have gone totally mad as a result.

That's the beauty of having an "unmemorable and/or silent protagonist." The authors can kill him off without any serious consequence because they don't have anything riding on them. They are just a tool for conveying the current story. When a new story comes along, they can just create a new "silent protagonist" to do what they will with.

He shuts off Nicoles message cause he knew she was dead. The encounters with Nicole in the game were hallucinations. I remember in a mission (Can't remember what was it.) Nicoles face pops up in screens and start saying some sort of shit, then she startyed fading away bcause of the statics. But at the very end you can see her skull clearly. So i figured out she was dead.

no. the story most takes place on a ship called the Ishimura. It a mining ship. It goes to a planet in a prohibited part of space and opens it. and that's when the infection come it. The story ends on Aegis VII. as you see in the vid
