Alright this is an awesome place but after watching this video im grossed out that NONE of the people handling the food are wearing gloves, that is just disgusting and prolly a health code violation.
Good job, Bill Carter, but how about letting us know if the VALI HI is still open? That snack bar was one of the biggest I've seen. FOUR out of FIVE Stars. Great Video!
This is excellent. So many places like this (movie theaters, drive-ins) are gone with little or no visual record left behind. This is even better than a series of photos; the video gives you a much better "feel" of the overall environment (and it looks like the architecture and interior design hasn't changed much in 40 years). There ought to be a repository for video histories like this -- I guess YouTube will do for now!
Pack a cooler, bring your grill? These Drive in theatres are nearly extinct and what little profit they do make is from concessions. So patronize the snack bar and leave the cooler and grill at home,Jerk!
My new account. The above is me. I saw Indiana Jones and Iron Man. great flicks, but it was cold. Will go on warner night or will catch midnight show coming up here. They are already open again this year
O my god! I live in marshall mn I do not know how many miles lake Elmo is but we all ways go the the one in luverne and it take me back. We had one in marshall but that close down I was a kid and then about 2003 we found out there was one in luverne and we been going every summer after that and I love. If you can fine one Go it great fun for the summer.

That's because they'd be using the utensils like popcorn scoopers or tongs to grab at stuff like hot dogs.

drive in movies make the whole movie better. Nothing like seeing a shooting star right in the middle of the film you are watching.
This drive in is much nicer than the one in Las Vegas...
