I'm trying to figure out why/how they stay in their digivolved stage without reverting back to their normal..? stages. Like Garurumon stays that way instead of going back to Gabumon. But when they digivolve (armour or otherwise) they revert back after they get done with the task they were doing.. o.o

@GingerCrinkletwist well gatomon is different she natural evolved to champion level without kari, so she stays in that form instead of going back to her rookie form salamon

@GingerCrinkletwist Gatomon never reverts back, because she went through so much torture in the first season, and that led to her building up her strength, so that she could stay at the champion level all the time.

The other seven can stay at their champion levels, because they've had a few years to build up their power. They're strong enough to stay at the champion level.

Davis, Cody, and Yolei are all new. Their digimon haven't had nearly enough time to build up that kind of power.
