While i don't understand most of the dialoge, he presents his character with pride and conviction. Body language is so much of acting,subtle but so important, its what makes the greats great. James is AMAZING at it, and he already has great control of it here. He is a natural.

It is a pretty heavy and a VERY creepy movie, which is the reason why I didn't watch it (just fast-forwarded through most of it). It has a really creepy and gross vibe that completely turned me off. Basically, the guy (Charlie) is looking for his daughter (Tommy) that he fathered when he was a teenager, because he thinks that she is involved in a child prostitution ring.

So, somehow he finds Kevin (James's character) and asks him about her. Kevin's dad is a pimp, and is apparently involved in all of this. So, in the end they find her and all's well.

I do not in any way recommend this movie.. however, James did do a really good job in it.

Completely agree with you. 1:20-1:47 - That bit where he throws a punch and says "The Viet Cong never called me nigger." You have in those few seconds a complete view of that character. He can't stop punching or he'll go down. He lives and breathes Muhammad Ali. That quote was Ali's response to being forced to fight, against his spiritual beliefs, in Vietnam, obviously, but within the context of this film it takes on it's own resonance. He's great in this.
