It isn't all good, for me the alarm wont set by voice for some reason, and when you tell it to play an artist or song it just takes you to a google search.

@ExperienceSam All Android phones come with Google Voice Actions, but he was using Vlingo. It's a third party app. I find both actually work about the same and very well.

Cheers from Bulgaria and by God is that thing accurate. A few years ago, you had to speak loudly in a robotic manner for it to even get a command as simple as "Cancel" or "Send", if you're lucky.

I thank it's just an app capable of analyzing what you say and know where to search according to the tool used for the question (how where why.....) . The hardware of old android phones can use the same feature , just release the app !!

@TheSmartPresenter004 it will for now; inevitably android will base future technology on apple and improve upon it (as it does with most stuff), so give it 2-3 months after siri comes out and android will be ahead again

@TheSmartPresenter004 the s2's commands (over a year old now) were pretty good, not the best but they weren't bad. if google put more money and time into improving it, which they probably will do being apple's main competitor, as well as the new technology available, it seems feasible in time.

So, if Google releases a personal assistant or voice commands, it will not have complete integration with built in apps of all phones. Some phones have different functionality in each of the built in apps while some have different built in apps. There are chances for Samsung developing something like Siri.
