That's a really, really impressive Planche. I'm trying to learn how to do them and I've seen a few good ones here on youtube, but that one was incredibly straight. Props to you guys. I recently stopped using weights altogether after looking at some gymnasts and how strong they are. Gymnastics exercises is where its at. Kudos to you guys!
can you believe there is no barbells at the park. no monkey bars, nothing. i'm just so over it. and i live in a crappy apartment, i'm afriad if i bought one of those barbell things, it would break the door frame lol
i find it so hard to grip the weights with my feet... thats why i improvise and tie a judo belt through weights and hang it on my legs. Tho sometimes i pull too fast and the 10kg weight smashes into my groin lol
THese vids are awesome: the discipline and development displayed are inspired. Of course, the bricks intensify the exercise, but can you use regular weights, or is there something special abt the bricks?
wigglos, why don't you start thinking before you speak. All you had to do was say, no. Instead, you got snippy, just like every other snot-brain with an attitude.
We use both, but the good thing about the brick opposed to ankle weights is that its difficult to hold, so if u kick your legs too much you'll drop the brick. and don't even worry about dudes like the guy that responded to u
Can you do slow muscle ups without any speed? Although it looks like and it is very hard to do them with that kind of speed and with added weight but it's hard in a different way to do them with no help from speed ;) I can do 3 in a row with 2kg agged weight and still cant do a slow one without..
Amazing and impressive. An advice for someone who wants to do this kind of stuff?

i do it with a 10 kilo 19 pound medicine ball and it is so more intense also because the weight is at your feet it stop you from swinging, good work!

my only prob with these is that they're technically not bodyweight excersises. that's the thing i don't like about vests too
but it's still impressive regardless, lol

I can perform slow weighted muscle-ups. If you have strong wrists and are strong with the negative then u can do it!
