In M v H, the "doubts" were children born on US soil to alien parents. M v H did not solve those doubts, but US v Wong Kim Ark did. He was declared a citizen.

In M v H, the "doubts" were children born on US soil to alien parents. M v H did not solve those doubts, but US v Wong Kim Ark did. He was declared a citizen.

It is called Parliamentary procedure. I don't know if that is taught in school anymore. While I agree that the issue needs to be addressed, handling it in this way is very poor manners.

Yes that bill is horrible but you don't need to worry about it because it's entirely unconstitutional. They'd literally have to amend the Constitution itself in order to accommodate the bill. This is nearly impossible to do and would require a nation-wide vote by the people. To worry about that somehow passing is completely pretty silly (at least I'd hope!)

Do you honestly thing your opinion is going to matter to this or any nonelected gov agency? You see how interested DHS is in the opposition to their new standard procedures. In Democratic South Korea they require you to give the equivalent of your ssi number whenever registering for a website or online game. If something similar was done here all anonymity would be lost. If you posted a comment to a forum the gov did not like they would know exactly whom did it & where to find them if they used their own SSI number. I am sure there would be a system to link to the SSA to verify all numbers so fabricated numbers would be rejected.
