wait, im confused. because i know in the film he misses it on purpose for the shot, but what am i confused about is if this is that shot or is he just having a bad day? and i ask this with the greatest respect towards the soloist
stubbyt34. you do realize they were on tour...... well actually they've been making this film for 3 years.... and they cant controll how the place looks. its just a factor that is uncontrolable.... like rain outs.
This is just one of our rehearsal sites we stayed at on tour. I believe this was in Pennsylvania. First...It's a documentary...Secondly...sorry, but rarely is there any glamour when it comes to housing sites.
if you watch the documentary, you'll see that the background doesn'te ven really appear in these shots. The shots focused on the players and were mostly symbolic or dramatic to fill moments inside the film. What mattered was that there was grass underneath the musicians!
Poor guy, that G must have been torture on the 29837423th rep. But hey, he hit it SOLID at finals. Bluecoats are hard-nosed about soloists, too. My high brass instructor this summer with Memphis Sound was a soloist in 2002, and he got yelled at every time he messed up in a show, which will happen no matter how good you are.
dont jump on her case, she is clearly like 4-12 years old if she is in the C corps. Now i loved watching your Greese show this past year bluedevilsgirl, but if you are going to disrespect another corps, make sure your daddy reads your post before you press the "post comment" button...thanks
Aww man...poor guy, you must have been playing a lot that day. Its ok though...what matters is you hit it at finals and it wasn't a repeat of Blue Devils 89
i love how the screamer couldn't hold the "G" to save his life. He did really well during most of the shows last year, however. I marched lead trumpet for capital last year...and yeah we folded and yeah we didn't do fantastic, but we still had better scores than capital has ever had.
i don't think the 40 mph gusts of wind were helping anyone... and it was difficult for the corps to hit any marks since we couldn't leave anything on the field or it would be in the shot
yeaaa that was my dad in the vid. hes making the movie. their actually really amazing. their the best copr in the word. SERIOUSLY IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HARD. U CAN LOOSE LIKE 50 LBS. A SUMMER. YOU TRY DOIING IT. ITS LOVVE<33
According to DCI's judges this past season, the top three of the summer was The Cavaliers, Phantom Regiment, and Blue Devils. Bluecoats came in fourth.
they can usually add about 20 degrees of heat to your body heat..so yea lol..it sucks..if they are anything like the ones i used in highschool, then it is hell..lol

The best for 2006 was the Cavaliers of Rosemont, Illionois. Although the Phantom Regiment show of 06 was just as good in my opinion as the Cavies.
