Thank you very much for the information, and a production endlessly remembered: I found this LP when working on a radio station in York -- though its release date confused me: distinctly the memory of playing this song is from either 1985 or 1987: and this was the last track on one of the sides. Much preferred this version compared to the other version on the same LP.

This was released in 1990 on Lifetime Records/EMI. Produced & co-written by Richard Niles and recorded in Rio De Janiero with Metheny on acoustic & electric guitars and Armando Marcal on percussion. Metheny introduced Silje Nergaard to Niles and this was her first record - Top 30 in Britain and Norway and Number One in Japan. The video is a mix of the original video and some extra Metheny footage.
