I wish more towns/ cities in the UK would do documentaries like this. Brum, Manchester, Sheffiled, Leeds all these places and more, why so quiet? And actually I'm not bothered where dubstep started (London?) I'm glad it did though, and I'm glad Bristol are taking it upon themselves to document this for the future, the rest of the country need to take note I think.

If you watch the film, both parts 1+2, you'll see that no one's claiming it came from Bristol. There's no propaganda here my man, just a little celebration of the sick tunes coming out of Bristol today. The universal consensus is that London is dubstep's homeland. Not sure where Stafford fits in with the music's origins...

I never said it originated in Bristol, I just dont think you can really say Dubstep originated in one place. Its been inspired by so many different genres.. Ok maybe London was one of the first to bring it to light, but the deep bass and intricate beats with inclusion of synths has been around europe for ages!
