Crow Killer is one of the scariest historical pieces ever written. True insanity taken to extreme combined with the hardened American pioneer equals Johnson! True history doesn t need gimmicks to work ,results...GREAT FILM!
I also suggest to anyone who has seen this, read "Crow Killer", the true story of Liver-Eating Johnson, and "Mountain Man", the one that this is based on. I own them both...totally different from one another, but both very good.
At first You've posted the material in normal speed, now it goes much faster, like in the play "forward" video mode. Why did You change that ? I mean - You did it on purpose or accidentally? It makes it a bit poorer, especially for the sequence where JJ is running through the forest. But of course, this is just an opinion.
Believe it or not there really was a real Jeremiah Johnson. He had a family and yes they were killed by Crows. When he would kill Crow warriors he would cut out their livers and eat them then spit them out saying they tasted rotten. He was nicknamed Liver Eatin Johnson
@CRMXR388 the song in the beggining of this video is "violence montage" you can only get it if you buy the whole score for the movie.. and its only like 47 seconds long...
That's all that stuck in my head after watching this movie for the first time this year. Soundtrack was perfect. Not the cliche western music that so many other films did.
The song was probably played and sung by Tim McIntire, who co-wrote the movie's music and sang the ballad of Jeremiah Johnson throughout. I've always found this part compelling, along with the sincere delivery of McIntire's performance.
Jeremiah "Liver Eater" Johnson historical facts.

The song name is just "Violence Montage", by Tim McIntire and John Rubenstein. I wish I had it, I want it for a ringer on my phone haha.

I don't know why it is doing that, Youtube must have changed it. When I originally put the video on here it went at normal speed.

Tim was under rated. The music alone was perhaps the most excellent ever produced for a western movie. R.I.P. Tim McIntire
