I got this Brazilian Japanese version in a multicart in my childhood then until a few years ago I managed to get a new-sealed US/NTSC copy of this game at long last. I'm grateful!

it's funny, in RoboCop 2, the scene with the arcade, you see Data East's logo a few times and a few of their games (like Bad Dudes)

The arcade version was developed by Data East with permission from Ocean Software, while the NES version was developed by Sakata SAS without credit.

Thank God the Japanese took over. Ocean does nice manuals like THQ and Acclaim, but not so for the games, though I do collect them as well. RoboCop 3 was a great disaster.

Directive 4 is to not arrest an officer of OCP. One of them is Dick Jones, who was vice presedent of OCP.
